Other than Costco, I saw nothing good enough. I wish they had the big Volvo Loader in my Costco... Online is already discounted, but in stores they go for even less. Oh well, maybe some other day! My father goes to Costco 2-3 times a week so he's looking for me :D

Recently, other than CHima sets, I bought: - Parisian Restaurant (Best modular ever!) - Pet Shop (Pet shop. You know PETS, so yeah) - Cargo Truck (Wanted a Orange Lift... Looks like my Toyota left at my job o.o) - Grand prix racer (Costco at 40% off!) - Supercar 8070 (used but not played with, 60% off...) - 2 PAB cups (Mainly large green plates, horses, stairs and 1x2 dark red bricks) - 2 Huge bricklink orders, mainly reddish brown parts for my "Chima wall" MOC and a few technic parts :)

If you want a modular, I think the parisian is the best modular out there. I have a few and this one is on another level of details. Might be a little hard to get inside views, but I'm pretty sure you can mod it enough to get you perfect shot.

I've read that it can support more motors (because as the V2 is, it can eats the batteries faster). You can always use multiple batteries even right now... A custom LiPo would be awesome. -

Ain't 2 M-motors a bit underpowered for this huge vehicule? The modular build is very nice and makes a good base for any bodyworks :P Else I would like to see it in action :) -
Taobao is pretty much the same as Ebay. Each seller has its own reputation.

Put 1-2 RC motors and it should help :P But I would try 1 L-motor on each wheel. Should be enough. -

It's all maths and possible uses of the part. Even if its illegal for LEGO sets, some ways are very interesting for MOCs. You must have a very good LEGO parts knowledge to create more parts. The maths are pretty much already done... :P -
