Hello everybody!

A day ago I started to build a motorbike for the new contest.

First of all I wanted a rimless bike, then, after many unsuccesful attempts, I gave up.

Because I have only the off-road motorcycle tyres, I had to choose for this futuristic model some unusual ones - from the 42056 Porsche 911 GT3 RS set.

It's not based on any real bike.

Here's the current progress:

2-cylinder fake engine

Steering

2 speed simple gearbox

Suspension

And some photos:

Looks excellent! You could replace the red axles with black ones (they appeared in several new sets).

Thank you!

Unfortunately I don't have many of those so not all of red axles could be replaced.

This build reminds me of this...

Yes, this is a very good idea!

Now all engine beaty is hidden :)

But overall it looks better with those side panels.

Rear is somehow still too flat, something is missing there, some curvatures etc.

Hidden but still there...

The bodywork isn't finished yet, so yes, I'm still not satisfied with many parts of it.

I must've missed this entry (i thought i'd seen them all so far). Great looking bike, i love how sleek the aesthetics are.

Some progress has been done since the last post.

First of all, I've chosen new wheels.

And I also started to rebuild the frame...

And this is how it looks with those wheels.

And here is a little attempt to build a V6 engine for it.

I like the design and shape of this Motorcycle. It's looks slick, and I love the rear light/exhaust.

Thank you! The rear light also my favourite part. The solution is very easy but took me a lot of time to find it out.

By the way, I took inspiration for the front suspension from your motorbike.

I'm glad I was able to provide a little bit of inspiration. I love the single sided look, so I'm happy my moto give you some ideas that helped make yours possible.

Like the shaping you have there. How are the wide wheels made? It looks like you’re only using one rim?

There are 2 offroad motorcycle tyres and two grooves on the rim (supposed to fit only one tyre) - so one groove per tyre's inner side.

I love this design! Overall it looks like some hunting robotic predator, very sleek and aggressive. There is almost a humanoid feel to it (crouching on hands and knees). The subtle red stripe is a nice touch, together with the red shocks it makes a nice contrast. And the wheels look fantastic, way better than the first ones.

Many thanks. I really put a lot of effort to it. Some details still left to do.

This is a quiet original model.

I had to look at it twice or more to understand all the work and issues you've managed to fix in this build.

Great job and special mention to the rear light combo with 3 bionicle tooth!

Nice curvy line with that red tube! Interesting idea to use two tires on one rim. Have yout tried how does it look with only single tire centred?

It is hard to see how you transfered steering from the longitudinal axle to the hub, got any closer and a bit brighter shots of that detail?

This expressed it well, so I let it be its name. Thx.

Thank you!

As I said before, the rear lights' solution is quite simple, but took me a lot of time to find it out.
