Darth_Bane13 Posted May 10 Posted May 10 I wish we got some nod to the original 2006 batman sets for the 20th anniversary. Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted May 10 Posted May 10 @Dolor: Come forward how? Putting out a press release justifying why DC gets so few sets? We already know why. Quote

Even though you see Marvel sets on heavy discounts as well. Like the other guy said we have been here before. Learn to accept 4 sets plus a bigger set, throw in a book or 2 , some lego megazine polybags, and a polybag every 3 years thats DC in a nutsheel, all batman related or course. Same hope turned to crap every year. Quote

Dolor Posted May 11 Posted May 11 (edited) So you are saying that we have these amazing Marvel movies, which all need sets? BUT when we have this guy called James Gunn, who tries to start "new" DC universe. With Superman... well, let's just make 1 set, about 15 eurodollars and that's it. Problem is not even LEGO it is DC lego community who don't even care anymore. Krypto, Krypto, Krypto....... Kryptoooooonnnnn!!!!!!! WAKE UP! Edited May 11 by Dolor Quote

Darth_Bane13 Posted May 11 Posted May 11 Imagine how cool a remake of the 06 Batcave would've been this year. Quote

So we’re not getting a Guy Gardner mech this year? It was promised to me in a dream with Cyborg Soup being the 2nd minifig. Corncob is the reason why the TIE Avenger isn’t getting made? Perhaps it is his petty vengeance for that small matter in 2024? 25 minutes ago, Darth_Bane13 said: Imagine how cool a remake of the 06 Batcave would've been this year. Yes it would have been. But we’re not allowed cool things apparently. 2025 Soup Mech is arguably the best mech set Superheroes ever got as it received 2 brand new minifigs and one with leg printing. Shaggy’s been cast in MOT. Can’t wait for him not to get a minifig. (I could see Lillard being Barry Allen since Hal’s old) Quote

CloneCommando99 Posted May 14 Posted May 14 The new Entertainment Weekly article on Lanterns gives me some hope. They are confirmed to go off world. And it has two storylines taking place in 2016 and 2026. So intriguing. Also the mystery is now confirmed to be alien based. So at least there’s a logical reason for them being in Nebraska. My bet is Atrocitus is the main villain. Quote
CloneCommando99 Posted May 18 Posted May 18 (edited) Ok. The new Lanterns trailer gives me faith. it appears the white suit with green accents from that fan edit a few months ago is how prime Hal’s suit looks. It does work better than Guy’s ngl. i posted it when it first got made but here u guys go. Lionbear8 Posted May 19 Posted May 19 I see some games reviewers are getting a large batman statue sent to them. Real shame no one else is geeting these. Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted May 19 Posted May 19 (edited) WE‘RE GETTING ANOTHER GODDAMN BATMOBILE GAHHHHH This time the one from Batman Returns. Yeayyyyyy. #76355, 2272 pieces, $220, released Sep 1st Edited May 19 by BrickBob Studpants Quote
DisneyLego Posted May 19 Posted May 19 Was really holding out hope for an animated series Batmobile or Batman forever Quote
Mandalorianknight Posted May 19 Author Posted May 19 To paraphrase a recent news article: "-it’s time to kill off Lego DC for good. John Lego’s franchise has become the dying dog of Lego, as this latest sorry effort demonstrates. Pull the plug we must, as Bat-Yoda might say" Quote
Kaijumeister Posted May 20 Posted May 20 (edited) Alas, to be a fly on the wall in Billund during the corporate meetings where some exec proposes that yet another Batmobile is needed, and is met with rapturous applause. It’s such a joke with Legacy of the Dark Knight releasing imminently not to have a single playscale set on shelves that include a Batman villain which isn’t Joker. The villain minifigure designs in the game are so cool as well, but it’s on form for Lego DC that five batmobiles and a buildable Batman logo are somehow good enough. Genuinely pathetic, lol. Edited May 20 by Kaijumeister Quote
The Brick Rat Posted May 20 Posted May 20 Lego DC: The world of Lego DC Superheroes rests on the backs of four elephants which in turn rest on the back of a giant turtle. Lego DC fans: And what does the turtle rest on? Lego DC: A Batmobile. Lego DC fans: And what does the Batmobile rest on? Lego DC: It's Batmobiles all the way down! Quote
astroboy75 Posted May 20 Posted May 20 Well hope it's the "slim" version of the Batmobile, and not a reedition of the 1989 one ... Quote
CloneCommando99 Posted June 1 Posted June 1 (edited) So Lex’s MoT warsuit was revealed by Gunn. The good news is Lego’s already got us covered with Toy Story sets Jokes aside this is awesome and hopefully we get MoT sets with this and all the heroes. (Particularly John, Guy, Kendra and Soup Girl for me) Edited June 1 by CloneCommando99 Quote
