A year ago I would have had hope for a GL mech. But after this year’s Batmobile convoy I fully expect disappointment.

Two more Batmobiles are rumoured for next year, a Batman Returns one that also features Penguin’s Duckmobile, and an Arkham Knight one. Jup, this is the Batmobile theme now

Absolute anatine cinema, I can't believe we're getting the best batman-related vehicle ever put to screen.

How sad is it that in the state of the theme we're in, The Duck appearing is somehow, on a technical level, a major step up- being a villain vehicle and presumably meaning that unlike 2026 we will in fact be receiving someone other than batman. (But obviously this is still dumb and I'm not buying that set. Maybe the Aslumemobile, but at the end of the day I've already got a batmobile, I don't need every version of it.)

This may be the recency of me buying The Batman Batmobile 2 days ago talking, but I’ve gotta admit, I like the sound of both of these 

I literally thought after building it that I’d like a Burton Batmobile of the same quality (I skipped the prior versions) and this looks like it’ll probably include an affordable Returns Penguin too.

Plus, if there was one Batmobile I’d have said were never getting it would be the Arkham Knight version, so the chance to get both that car and an Arkham Batman hopefully on the same level of detail as the Battinson fig sounds pretty cool.

Is this the all encompassing DC theme I’d like? No, but I’ll take more stuff that’s the same quality as the recent Batmobiles. Am I part of the problem? Yes.

End of the day, even if set choices annoy me, making the sets themselves speed champions but Batman at least means the sets are quality builds that I don’t regret buying afterwards. Excited to see what these look like.

Your crossed fingers will produce the Bat-Penguin, which is the standard Batman fig but with a recoloured cowl and Shang Chi head.

Actually, never mind. My speculation has now willed the Bat-Pen into existence instead, which will be advertised alongside the Duck Boat but sold separately.

The Arkham Batmobile is pretty cool, I wonder if they’ll do the long ears cowl from the game or just stick with the standard one. It’s nice to see a villain vehicle again in a set, but I don’t really have any interest in another Keaton one. I’ve always preferred the Asylum Batmobile over the Knight one, so hopefully we get that one day

Australian here, none that have specifically listed it... I am guessing EB Games will with the game.

I am taking a chance on pre-ordering the game through Amazon

The guy who snuck the Superman mech through the design process was immediately blasted with the Omega Beams and disintegrated.

They've got some poor guy chained up in the basement of the lego house with nothing but black bricks and tires.

 

In all honesty I imagine they're just assigning these to designers who like vehicles. The only one of the 2026 sets to have a name assigned besides our own LegoChaek's polybag is Adam Grabowski, who's the self-described "car guy" for lego. When it's your niche to the point they bring you in as the specialist to make the car side build for primarily non-car sets, I would imagine he doesn't mind making a few of them in black (and sometimes very dark gray).

For years ive been saying in my lego sets feedback to do media accurate batvehicles but i didnt thibk they'd keep doing remakes

 

 

But when lego has a limited budget it's hard to see them doing other things

 

 

Anyways fill those feedback forms for dc comic cmf 2 and non bat vehicles
