  1. Micro Warcraft 2 I began working on each individual building a few months ago but finally finished assembling the display. The inspiration for this display began when I completed my Warcraft: Orcs and Humans micro last year. I figured it was time to go on to the next game Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness. I started with the human town center and built out the basic buildings of the lumber mill, barracks, blacksmith and the farm. Of course, the build wouldn't be complete without the resources to harvest and the exploding sheep. If you are unfamiliar with the game here are some screen shots. Click the image for a larger picture:
  2. Avalonian Countryside The beauty of rural Avalonia have few peers. From ripening fields to towering forests, the countryside is the heart and soul of the land. Local farmers have been tilling the earth for generations, and would like nothing more than to live out their lives in peace. However, the ambitions of greater men regularly disrupt these desires, and the young men sent to battle seldom return; some caught by the stray arrow or a sharp spear, while others are drawn in by buzz and adventure promised by the capitol. But for the people who get to live here in peace, there is no place greater. It's home. Have been wanting to build a more sizable representation of the Avalonian landscape for a while now. Tried to include different aspects of Avalonia, like fields, grasslands, moors and a few different types of forests. Hopefully it is an accurate visualisation of rural Avalonia This is my first time dabbling in microscale, and I found it both more fun and more challenging than I thought it would be. The main thing is that it allows for representing a large area with few pieces, which, with my current lego budget, is pretty critical. I definitely see myself building more in this type of scale. Thanks for watching, hope you enjoyed it! C & C always welcome
  3. Here is a lego slurry tank with associated research laboratory that I have built to help explain some research we are doing. Here is a view with the lab: And a view with the word: This is my first design with a curve wall structure (the main tank) and using SNOT techniques (especially behind the control panel).
  4. This is the third of 4 micros I built as prizes for the Guild Creation category of the Summer Joust. This particular model was focused on a city of Rauor. You can see the first and the second builds already. Rauor is just a fictional land I made up, and tried to develop the culture and setting of with these 4 micro builds, the rest of which will be posted soon. C&C welcome
  5. Thanks to de Gothia for letting me put this build in Benoic! As usual on the farm, there’s much to be done: feeding, watering, and milking the goats, feeding the chickens, and most importantly: heading back to the house for some breakfast. Lots more pictures here: Link C&C very much appreciated
  6. Hello everybody. My little MOC. A Farmer after a long-long day of working. Thanks for watching!
  7. MOC: 24-Carat Urban Vertical Farm I managed to snag a bunch of freebie 2x2 Gold round tiles, a bunch of orange windscreens and orange 4x4 wedges. So it was obvious (to me, at least) what I was going to build - an upscale Urban Vertical Farm for my Chinatown 2035 series of Modulars. So here it is. Here's a view from the rear The roof detail. I imagined that the owners had access to a 3-d Printer and just produced a huge amount of these awesome shapes. And finally because it was set in the near future I had to include the owner watering the plants with Brawndo - it's got electrolytes. It's what plants crave. Hope you like it. As usual comments, criticism and ridicule most welcome!
  8. Hi all just want to share my LEGO ideas British coast line MOC
  9. This was my entry to the Medieval Husbandry category, of the CCC XII, over on Classic-Castle: Link to more pictures: Link All C&C appreciated

Wyndor couldn’t help but wonder about Rothgar and the rest of the Dalig Ulv dwarves that had followed him. Were they in any kind of trouble right now? Wyndor knew that worrying was not going to help anything so he focused on the issue at hand. There seemed to be two forces besetting his city right now: Edea plus her sisters and the Blue Wolves. The last attack in the market place had showed that they weren’t in league with each other. But what could be so important that they both were after it? Wyndor hoped to have more answers after interrogating the member of the Blue Wolves that had been captured. They had just arrived at the farm where the renegade had been apprehended. The owner of the farm came up to them and said, “Ah, I’m glad you’re here finally Pjeter and Wyndor. We caught the thief trying to break into our house. It was the strangest thing. He was trying to break in by coming through the front door! Normally we all would have been out of the house at that time, but I had forgotten one of my tools and was inside getting it when he opened the door and strode in like he owned the place! Me and my boys tied him up and have in the barn, but I don’t mind telling you I’ll feel a lot better when he’s off my property all together!” “Well then,” replied Pjeter. “Perhaps you’d better show us to him.” “Of course, of course sir! Right this way” the farmer answered. OoC: There are a couple things I'm not fully satisfied with. The trees are blockier than I want for one. For another I would love to have more brown or tan plates to extend the path on past the barn, but I ran out. The barn is going to be part of my next post which I will get to tomorrow. Please let me know what you think!
  11. See the previous tales: Wyndor's Saga: Chapter 1 -What Has Past- Chapter 2 Part 10: A New Home Part 10.1:Blunted Edges Part 10.2: Cramped Spaces Part 10.3: Enthusiastic Worker Part 11.0 Part 11: Mysterious Death Part 12: Dark Meetings Part 13: Warm Yourself Part 14.1: Sisterly Visit Part 14.2: Proud Farmer Part 14.3: Mitgardian Household Part 15: Another Mysterious Death Part 16.1: The Council Meeting Part 16.2: Meeting with Wyndor (made by Glorfindel) Part 16.3: Feud in Teridyan Part 16.4: Great Elk Longhouse (made by Glorfindel) Part 16.5: Traveling Partners Part 16.6: Mitgardian Throne Room (made by Glorfindel) Part 17: The Cemetery Part 18: Home Part 19: Crowded Market Mayhem Part 20: Shooting Straight Part 21: Returning Part 22: Keeping Out or Keeping In Part 23: Talk in the Tavern Part 24: Mitgardian Long Sheep The farmer led Pjeter and Wyndor into the barn where the Blue Wolf member was being kept. As they approached the men could see the renegade sitting in a corner with his hands tied up. As they neared he stood up and started toward Wyndor. The farmer held up a pitchfork and threatened, “Now, that’s far enough scum!” The Blue Wolf ignored the farmer, but stopped walking. “Wyndor, I’m glad you’ve come. My leader has told me it is time for you and he to meet.” “Well,” answered Wyndor, “It would appear he has the advantage since he knows me but I’ve never met him.” “That’s not entirely true,” replied the renegade. “Now please, it is most urgent that we leave at once. Too much time has already been wasted.” Wyndor raised an eyebrow at Pjeter. “What do you think?” “We could just lock him up,” answered Pjeter, “We have no reason to trust what he says. But I know you can handle yourself in a scrape, I’ll leave the decision up to you.” Wyndor turned back to the captive. “Let me guess, if I come with you I have to come alone and unarmed?” “No,” he answered. “Bring whomever you want. But there is no need for a show of force nor will it help you. We will need horses though. Where I am taking you is not close by.” Wyndor thought for a moment. “Alright, I’ll come with you.” Turning to Pjeter he asked, “Can you head back to town and ask 2 men to meet me here with horses as soon as possible?” “Only two?” questioned Pjeter. “I’m trusting my gut on this one” answered Wyndor. “Oh, and one more thing, can you let Valanice know what’s going on?” OoC: I'm really happy with how the roof of the barn turned out. I hope you like it too. As this is my Storehouse entry I just want to clarify that I'm counting the hay being stored in the top level as enough to claim this as a Storehouse. I didn't feel like building a giant grain silo or other traditional storehouse so I came up with this idea. I hope that's acceptable.
  12. This was built by my 12 year old brother. Kendrick and Basil continue their journey and come upon a small farm in the countryside. They pay the farmers a visit and plan to spend a few days working at the farm in return for food and lodging. More pictures can be seen here: link He would appreciate any C&C
  13. It's that time of year again. The days are colder and shorter. The leaves begin to fall. Farmer Rudasill admires yet another successful growing season. He knows harvest grows near. This build was harder than expected due to a limited piece selection. I'm planning on picking up more parts for Phase 3. That aside, it was still enjoyable none the less. I particularly liked building the corn and tomato plants. I'm happy to finally work that scarecrow into one of my builds :) Thanks gedren_y for the pumpkin suggestion! It was a pain working with those Indy whips (they always seem to want to curl back up), but I love the end result. C&C are welcome!

  15. I've brought the old(ish) farm sets out of storage and built them up for my 3 yr old to play with, as he loves farm equipment. Actually, he does fairly well at putting them together himself, as long as I lay the peices needed for the next few steps out in front of him. However, the last few weeks he has focused on one thing--he wants a Lego tomato harvester. Must be from one of those mighty machine DVD's. I really have little idea of where to start, other than that it'll probably need a conveyor belt in the front. Has anyone else ever tried to make one?
  16. This was built by my 11 year old brother. Kendrick and his companions have stopped to trade for some food and supplies at a farmhouse: He would appreciate any C&C
  17. Yesterday I was bored and decided to make some new farming stuff......then I thought why not a new store......yes, another one ! Now what can you spy.........batteries, shearing machine motor, petrol powered post driver or how about a pump ? Tomorrow I'll try to have close ups of the special props.......there of course is more to come so keep watching !
  18. This is my first post in a long while so hopefully I can start catching up This is my attempt at farm phase 1. Just a small scene depicting a farmer ploughing his field (manually) while his son de-stones and pulls weeds out of the ground. This was also my first attempt at using GIMP editor, took awhile but i think I did alright All C&C welcome
  19. There are many small farms located around Volhaal in Southern Graystar. However there are fewer that are vinyards. Had this sitting around for over a week, finally had time to take pictures and edit. As per usual C&C are gladly welcome
  20. I've been playing around with this for some time, in LDD only so far. Borrowed some ideas off of prior LEGO sets. It is an experimental agricultural soil treatment machine, designed to produce steam on-board, and then inject it into the soil, while tilling. Similar devices are available commercially in Germany and Italy, but so far none of them are suitable for US agricultural purposes. This one has propane fuel tanks on the tractor, and a hose reel to connect to water tankers off to the side. We were going to build something similar, but then the whole concept got tossed in favor of an autonomous 4-wheeled platform, with no driver, just RC control. For the MT contest, I'll modify and add brick built details to the tractor and finish off the trailer. Functions will include HOG steering, driven PTO connected to the tiller, which can raise and lower. Since PF are not allowed, the steam generator will be non-functional Right now its at 75 x 17 studs, so will need some work to get to the correct size. I'd appreciate any feed back as to suitability to mod to MT standards, or should I work on something else?
  21. We just posted up the farm house and thought that it is best seen in it's natural setting. We've still got to complete a proper barn and silo and will put in some proper fields soon too. Short of those items most of the farm is in place. Enjoy. If you'd like to see more feel free to click here or here.
  22. The Lego Farm set (7637) was literally the first 'official' set my daughter and I started with. What started as a fun little set in the middle of the dinning room table has grown into what is Godwins Hollow today - in just a few years - so Lockridge Farms quite literally is the cornerstone of our city. This is the farm house in the center of the farm. As always, if you'd like to see more feel free to click here or here.
  23. We recently had to move - we live in Kuwait and since we're not locals we can't own property so when the landlord says go you go. Anyways, it has afforded us the opportunity to setup a new layout in Godwins Hollow. We've got everything planned out and most of the existing buildings are where they should be but there is still lots of room for new! You can see more here and here.
  24. My phase 3 build for the Farm category in AoM. I think this is my best half timbered house yet. As always there's a full interior, and the door works. There are many farms located on the outskirts of Daydelon. Several of which are sheep farms. The loom outside the house so you can see it better: More pictures can be found here: link C&C welcome
  25. My younger brother, age 11, built this produce truck: It does fit a fig: Much of the design was inspired by this model, built by Dix: My brother would love to hear some feedback
