Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here
samlr replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
@Bob De Quatre : yes this is the Redemption. The Redemption is a EF76 Nebulon B which has been modified to be used as a medical ship. It´s also the one you see in the movies. I had part of thoses pictures but no all. Some are going to be very useful ! Thank you ! (PS : I know your cat loves Legos but I dont remember seeing your version of the Nebulon B ?) @BEAVeR : That's a great website ! I am going to bring some corrections thanks to those pictures. I didn't think about the complet saga on blu ray. I own it to, it's somewhere in a box ... Anyway, thank you ! @GuyDudeMan27 : I'm trying out my luck ! But you are right, other MOCs can be a great source of inspiration ! Mortesv has made a great MOC of the Nebulon B and brought alot of ideas for instance. -

Hello everyone, Does anyone have pictures where we can see the top of the rear (engine) section of the Redemption ? Idealy, the model used for the Star Wars movies ? I found several pictures, but either, it´s the Redeemer or it's custom creations and they dont match the original model ... It´s for designing a MOC. Thank you ! -

Same, and I've finally decided to design my own ... -
Welcome Chaosboi, I was not far from you last week (in Cairns, now). It's a very nice area, but not much lego stores around here. Where do you get your sets from ?

Placing Inverted Tiles on Top of Each Other
samlr replied to Augen's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
To be able place a tile upside down over a other, you need a connection. You can use a temporary build like on this picture. You just rotate the tile and clips it. Temporary builds and knowing the parts sizes is very useful for designing MOCs on LDD specially for advanced techniques. Have fun ! -

The two sets are great. They both have exclusive and uncommon minifigs. They are both nice to display. And they are both important and recognizable from the first SW trilogy. Now the SSD 10221 requires to have quite some space to display, the Sandcrawler 75059, less. On the other hand, if you don't buy the SSD 10221 now and you regret later on, you'll have to buy at very high price ! -
Respect ! This is a masterpiece ! The head is incredible ... How long did it take you to design and build this sculpture ?

MF 10179 .... Had it in my hands, had the money and just said there is more important things in life ... Which is true ...

Someone on BL is selling the two nameplates for $0.25 each. He has almost 200 of each. You could probably bricklink the set for $30-$40

Here is a timelaps build of the 4000011 Nyiregyhaza Factory : I'm afraid to open it and end up with a basic Architecture set and mostly common parts. I rather keep it as collector MISB set for now. You both understand, I think. Anyway, thanks for your answers !

:-D

Someone offered to trade it against a limited edition set I had. Now, if you are looking to buy one (and if you have some money to spend), there are two on sale on BL. Happy I didn't pay for it ...

Let me cry and come back ... Just wonderful and insanely detailed !!!

Would you guys be interested in a review of this set ? I just got one and can't decide whether or not I should open it.

2.49 EUR for that ? I'm rich !

Stealing is stealing, and stealing is wrong, whether or not someone did half the work before you. Knowing Walmart would toss it away, why not ask them if you can have the baseball bat ? Sometimes it works :-)
