  1. Sandcrawler is still being produced. Red Five is gone. Ewok Village is the next retired set, so if you want it, it's time to get it ;-)
  2. It's funny that there are no topics about this exhibition on Eurobricks. Someone should post the pictures of all the creations :-)
  3. On one hand, I want to hate you. You've finished your's before I did and after I've spent hundreds of hours on it. Yet you've built a real master piece ! You've made a very precise build, very close to the original studio model. The details are amazingly accurate. Respect man ! wwwwwwooooowwwwwwww !!!!!!!
  4. Man ! You always build amazing stuff !
  5. 9 x 44676 in circle ?
  6. Amazing, those are !
  7. It's manufactured in China and shipped directly from there ... It's a genuine chinese knock-off !
  8. We can't access your pictures; "This file is not yet public"
  9. Really ?
  10. The modulars and some other expert sets where, for about a month each year at -30% at E.Leclerc in France. And they would add 30% as gift voucher on your loyalty card. I used to pay the modulars at 100euros and I've payed some (PS & TH) at 70euros this way. Fnac had also some very interesting offers.
  11. This past year, I've noticed that Lego sets where quickly in shortage.Finding 2-3 year old sets was commun, it's "impossible" now. And the biggest problem is that the sets don't have time to go on sale anymore. For instance, the modular sets would go on sale between -25% to -50% at least twice a year. It's not anymore the case. I can't find the Parisian Restaurant under it's normal price (when I do find it ...). I was wondering if it's something happening only in Europe or all over the world and if there is a reason for this happening ?
  12. Build one, then you'll see, anyway, in worst case, you won't be loosing one :-)
  13. No budget, no problem ... well almost no problem :-D

  15. Thanks mortesv, it's nice that you are working on your Nebulon B again !
  16. Haven't had much time but I've been working on it. I've redesigned the front section to make it closer to scale as it was too short. Pictures are coming up soon :-)
  17. You should get it now. You will probably miss it if you wait for it to go on sale. (little stock left, no raison to put it on sale, and people are buying it knowing it's EOL). It's a wonderful set BTW :-)
  18. I invest in Lego to pay my own sets. It's a quite profitable investment, yet a bit complicated. Forget about buying TFA and Lego the Movie sets. Aside from 2-3 sets, they won't go up...
  19. Designing a MOC on a phone seems quite complicated. There are very basic apps to do that, but you will be limited to a reduced list a parts, you will probably not be able to use SNOT or other techniques and you will be struggling to place the parts on your phone. Designing on paper would actually be easier. Another possibility is to build MOCs with the parts you own.
  20. I own 3 Fire Brigades, 3 Grand Emporium, 3 Pet Shops, 3 Town Halls, 3 Palace Cinemas, 1 Parisian Restaurant and 2 Haunted Houses ( and Christmas is coming :-D ). PS : Subject will probably be moved.
  21. Yes it has more screen time. And I think they added scenes with the Nebulon B on the Blueray / Digital edition of The Return of the Jedi. I really don't know why TLG didn't make any set of the Nebulon B, maybe it's because it's a complicated ship or hard to play with ?
  22. The thin part of the spine is 4 stud width and 10 plates high on 90 studs long. There is room to reinforce the rest of the spine. I also want to have studs on the 4 sides. Here is the last interweaving I've though about : Spine by Samir Lrhoul, sur Flickr There almost no alignment and there is room for 5 pins to connect each technic brick to the other. Yet, I still have to find a solution to have studs on the bottom ... I'll keep your solution in mind for when I can test it with real bricks. I'm just worried about not having enough studs for the greebling. Just curious, in which situation did you meet the same problem ?
