  1. I toss. Moving soon and don't have enough room. :(
  2. The "Genius" Bar? lol...
  3. Here's a thread from the forum: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=76046
  4. Go for it! I don't really have any rules when it comes to Lego myself. Just about any theme can mix together in my imagination. ^_^
  5. It's fun checking in to see how this city grows and changes.
  6. This thread makes me appreciate the sophistication, part diversity, details, and color variety of current Lego. While there's a certain charm in the simplicity and basic color palette of those old sets, I feel like Lego has really improved for the better over the years. Thanks for sharing!
  7. Cool--I like!
  8. I am planning to get one more modular. Right now, I've narrowed it down to either PS or PC. I'm leaning PS for some of the reasons rob-cubed highlighted, but anyone have any other suggestions to add?
  9. I sold my one and only GG. :p
  10. At first, I was planning to get GE as my first modular, but I ended up getting PR instead. I dunno, I think the PR is more elegant and less unwieldy compared to GE. Space is kind of an issue, and 3 huge layers of building doesn't sound as appealing to me now than it did before lol. I may still go for it before it retires though.
  11. I like the Bike Shop/Cafe a lot! Looks really fun, something my kids would enjoy playing with since it isn't too bulky and unwieldy yet still has that real building "feel". I usually try to buy all Legos on sale or discounted through Amazon anyways, so the MSRP isn't too big an issue for me. Definitely will be looking out for this one after it releases.
  12. Whelp, I bit the bullet and ordered this set yesterday from S@H to get the double points...it was shipped today and is on it's way! Not sure if I'm going to build it right away though. I'm in the middle of moving....
  13. Production run information is not generally shared to the public. It's unlikely that anyone outside TLC can tell you specific numbers. If you are looking to sell or buy, it's best to just look at what the market is willing to pay for a set though something like eBay or an enthusiast trading forum.
  14. I kind of felt the same way about Ninjago, which started out more about the spinning top game element, and has evolved into much more outlandish sci fi with the mechs and vehicles, but it seems more like an homage to power rangers and manga/anime than a replacement for Sci Fi outright.
  15. Great review! I love the last two Space themes and I'm sad they are going away, but I am hopeful we'll see it just evolve as it has been over the last couple of iterations. I like how you saw the connections between Alien Conquest and Galaxy Squad and I'm hoping the next Space theme just builds once more on the previous ones. I still need to pick this set up before it disappears completely. I love the transforming bits as I've always been fascinated by vehicles with detachable flying units. My only issue is that is does seem confusing that the ground unit faces opposite the flying one, but ultimately, it's not that big a deal. Hoping to have this before time runs out!
  16. It seems like we are in the minority of folks really digging what came out with Alien Conquest. I really loved the theme and the sets were, ahem, out of this world! ^_^ I think Galaxy Squad is great too though, and it seems to have continued where AC left off. I dunno why the Sci Fi sets don't last as long as the other stuff. Odd that Ninjago just goes more and more into outlandish sci fi territory while the actual Sci Fi stuff gets tagged with the one and done treatment. :( That reminds me, I need to grab the GS Titan before it disappears forever....
  17. Good idea!
  18. Yes, I saw that and picked one up. The bug thing is a little disappointing, but the vehicle is great. Really? It's still available for US S@H.
  19. Yes, it opens from the side also. The forklift has a different design though.
  20. ebay? If retail, please share the location!
  21. Great job!
  22. Fun video Jorrith and a great idea to mount the camera on the train! What kind of camera are you using, if I might ask? I'm thinking it would be cool to have a wireless camera which can send back a signal to a monitor so my kids and I can view everything in real time.
  23. Me too...no Lego trains yet, but I'm thinking about high speed passenger train with the train station add-on. Storage/display space is the main reason I've avoided trains in the past...
  24. Nice, thanks for the new box art shots. Hm, I didn't want to get the helicopter at first, but the more I see, the more I like!
