Except for DC! ;) Pardon the pun but as a vehicle for putting out figures it's not the worst idea in the world... I'm never enamoured with the small builds anyway (although the SHIELD copter thing was quite sweet) but if they're going to have some genuinely interesting figures in them then I'll be picking them up with no hesitation.

I'm thinking we could easily break things up like this, as you say. Smallish Carbon Chamber would fit really well into a larger duel set which would mean Vader would keep the premium set appearance, add a meeting room/private chambers set with Leia in her Bespin robes and maybe a platform set with a cloud car and we'd have a pretty nice Cloud City over four sets instead of the two that Jabba's palace was made from. I won't start trying to assign figures to sets as that's purely guesswork but I could see it working.

I think this is the last place people should feel left out. About as much information as is out there gets shared here... I think the comment about 'I see what you did there' was misinterpreted as being some secret code and a nod to a little in joke between people in the know. J2G might know more than he's letting on... In fact he probably does... But he can't share otherwise he would. As soon as he gets the nod it'll be on his YT account then here. If he's hinting like he seems to be about a 'battlepack' type thing then I'm pretty sure it's happening whether it's two figures etc in each one.

Bootleg Super Heroes minifigs - worth it or not?
Robianco replied to KingPixels's topic in Community
I must admit... Most of those Flash figures look horrible but the Reverse Flash looks like it has a decent torso and the Black Flash has its zombie head printed on grey which is good. I've ordered just the two figures for around £1.20. That'll do for me. -

The shield if from an older SY or Decool set. I'm not sure which. -
Because nobody NEEDS to see pics early. We visit the thread with interest IF information or pics are released early but are ultimately restricted by what information is released, officially or otherwise. When I visit a Lego store it's usually full of excited kids pondering which sets they can buy or showing their parents which huge sets they'd like with the hope of getting them for birthdays or Christmas. They don't have a clue what's being released in a week, a month or in three months time and they don't care. If they like it on the shelf then they want it. We, as AFOLS, get to follow these threads and view waves before release which is great but ultimately not necessary for Legos main audience. We all work to budget constraints... If you think you're going to want a whole Ep VII wave on day one then budget for it. I'm not sure I'd have the space to build and display an entire wave in one go so I also factor practical things like that into buying decisions. I'll keep visiting this thread daily but not seeing something doesn't diminish my excitement for the movie or my hope for some great sets that accompany it.

It's Ok. The million or so other people who don't need the pictures to be interested will happily pick up the slack... ;)

No bootleg companies have done Symbiotic Spidey although the regular Venom covers most of it and you can order a head from Firestar Toys that would complete it. -

I realised that it's not the SY Spidey set I've ordered... it's the DLP set. Whoops. -
I must say, Anio... Your MOCs do the almost impossible and make me interested in PT sets! Another great looking build and one that looks incredibly solid for such a complicated shape.

Oh come on!!!... Ha... You can talk in riddles all you like but that figure would make my year. I think that and the New 52 Catwoman would be amazing. Interested to see how they could bring that in... maybe a Dimensions pack? Juniors set?

I'm expecting mine any day along with the Igor armour. Possibly the last Marvel figures I'll be picking up unless they bundle them with DC stuff in the future. I ordered them before my decision to only collect DC stuff. I'll post pics when they land. -

I posted that. It's based on the Nick Fury from the SY vehicle wave with Red Skull etc. just add Luke Cage's head and a set of Space Batman's wings and you're set! -

I don't think there are any pad printers who frequent this forum so you probably won't get any takers on here. With regards to pad printing you're going to be looking at around 100 as a minimum order... anything less will make it prohibitively expensive. Pad printing is going to be expensive anyway and the cost will grow depending on how many colours etc but I'm sure you're aware of that. You'll also need to ensure that your artwork is set up in vector format with each colour separated as that's how it's printed.... again, I'm sure you're probably aware of the artwork guidelines for printing. The one thing you might be able to negotiate is the fact that the plates will already be made once you print so the next run may not be as expensive but make sure the printer is aware to keep your printing plates. You may find that the prices aren't so laughable once you'd had quotes from various people. The benefit of using some of the better known Lego printing people is that they've done MANY lego torsos, heads and legs so they'll be farmer aware of the little tolerances that occur and can guide you through the process. One final note is you'll need to factor in the blank parts before you do any printing. Buying 100 blank torsos, legs and heads and then shipping them to wherever your printer is is a cost that needs to be factored in. Again... some of the better known Lego printers may be able to source the parts for you eliminating that part of the problem.

If he was a new seller then I might agree but with feedback of nearly 10,000 I'd say he's got them. There are always leaked figures available on Taobao in China so I'd say there may have been a mass leak of EPVII figures... Quite how this many have made the rounds I'm not sure. I'm also surprised Lego hasn't shut the auction listings down which is the only question mark I have around their legitimacy. They're certainly well done if they are indeed fake.

Bootleg Super Heroes minifigs - worth it or not?
Robianco replied to KingPixels's topic in Community
There only seems to be two of them in that set not four. Considering the Hulkbuster had two figures plus a bigfig Hulk, the mech was larger and you got a Hulktrap build then I'm thinking these have to drop in price. £20 for two mechs and duplicate figures isn't a good deal to me... Maybe four of them but not two. -

Bricks and Pieces still stocks all the elements for the figures in 76025 Sinestro & Green Lantern set including the wings. They're £1.91 for a full set of wings from there if you wanted genuine Lego. -
OK... so the classic Nick Fury uses a Citizen Brick head and I've painted the grey sides so that one doesn't count but Dum Dum is purist.

Yeah. Had a batch of stuff arrive today including 3 of the sets with the Maria Hill figure. The arms looks great on them. -

As a Bat fan this torso made the SY279 set worth it on it's own. Definitely more of a Falcon than a Nick Fury Nick and Dum Dum meant business once they'd had their shoulder patches sewn on! -

It's SY279. The one that everyone hated... I still think it was an experimental set to try double sided heads etc but it's also got printed legs for Cap and Thor as well as a unique Batman torso with a yellow insignia. http://www.aliexpress.com/item/SY279-Building-Block-Super-Heroes-Avengers-2-Minifigures-Captain-America-Iron-Man-Spiderman-Batman-Superman-Compatible/32362849409.html Are these SY's first minidolls? http://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/Wholesale-15Lot-SY268-Building-Blocks-Super-Heroes-Avengers-Girl-Friends-Minifigures-Draculaura-Frankie-Stein-Bricks-figures/1707009_32393043381.html I think they may have done some Friends clones previously...
