Well it's that time of the year again and the SDCC Exclusives are almost upon us. I know a lot of people will be gutted about missing out on the Sam Wilson Captain America figure... and some people are glad it's just a variant. But for those that would like one and maybe aren't afraid of a little decal work:

Well maybe the new one Christo has moulded for Blade might be a good place to start. Especially if it gets bootlegged at some time.

Even if they don't I'd probably pick up one of those spider figs for the legs and arms. May as well make it as original as possible. I trust SY to get that torso and head right!

Maybe a Scooby Doo preview fig? A Dr Who (Seeing as he's in Dimensions and an Ideas set)?

After last year I'm thinking maybe only one DC and one Marvel. Maybe a preview fig from another line like Scooby Doo (as with Bard) and another figure...

The packaging says its exclusive so I'd say it's not going to appear in a poly unlike the preview figures we got last year. Anything marked as exclusive will stay that way... At least in the form it appears at SDCC. Last year was one from each side of the SH line so Sam might be the only Marvel fig along with one DC.

Well we've had the Marvel SDCC figure announced. I wonder what Bat variant we'll get this year?! ;)

So some of the recent speculation (or fears) have proven right. It's times like these I look forward to when Sheng Yuan will bootleg it... Yet another fig to benefit from those booted legs after Spidey and Superman.

I'd rather it was in microscale if it's an SDCC exclusive rather than system scale. Mind you... they don't often put exclusive figures in SDCC sets so it's not like they'd throw an updated Jedi training fatigues Luke in it. Is there any precedent for these things being precursors to a future set? I'd kind of got the feeling that they're normally smaller scale versions of sets we've already had such as the Sandcrawler (although it had a bit of a farm diorama with it). We've then had microfighter versions of things such as the Ghost, Landspeeder and Slave 1. It would be nice to think it was a hint to maybe getting a system scale version.

Actual photos of the figures would be great if you can arrange that! ;) The CGI images supplied don't always tell the full picture.

So many good figures in that video. That pre-chromed C-3PO might just be the best version of that figure I've ever seen. Ugnaughts, Shmi Skywalker, Battle scene Padme, Chrome topped R2, a couple more rebel helmet variations The video layed the boot into the PT so badly it was hilarious. RED FLAGS!!! RED FLAGS!!!

After last year you may only get one for Marvel. I can maybe see a Jurassic figure... Possibly one from JP and a preview figure from another theme?

I think the point he's making is it doesn't matter whether it's officially released or a leak... Either can be considered a spoiler if it gives more information than the viewer wants to digest. It's also the fact that there's no reason whatsoever for any of it to be discussed as it's not linked to any rumour about 2015 sets but merely guesswork or worse still wishlisting. Ninja'd!

The thing is I don't want ANY figure to be an exclusive... I'm actually a fan of variants too so a civilian version of a figure or something like a White Lantern Flash or CW Flash isn't something I'm ok with. My comment was more a tongue in cheek response to wishing for a particular DC figure to revel in the schadenfreude of its appearance... That and the fact I've already got a custom Coulson so it would be easier to accept. ;)

Seeing as we're in the Marvel thread why not keep fingers crossed for a Coulson SDCC exclusive?

These sets aren't the exclusives... They never contain exclusive figs and are pretty easy to build from a BL order for less than the set will cost. The Warbird from last year cost less than £10 when BLing the parts so the only thing you're missing is the packaging. The exclusive figures will arrive... Whether they have one or two SH figures... Maybe a couple of preview figures (as Azog, Bard and Rocket have been) I'm going to guess at one Marvel and one DC like last year.

Citizen Brick have done 3 or 4 sets of GOT figures. They're quite expensive though but I could see where SY would be able to take their designs. Citizen Brick have also done Breaking Bad figures and sets too.

I've not seen it in the UK yet. Was it at a Lego store or in a secondary retailer?

I've never seen a Star Wars advent calendar in stock anywhere a week or so before Christmas never mind on sale afterwards. You only have to look at eBay to see the prices rocket for them!

You've got to be a bit thick to order something from AE at the costs they are selling them and then complain that they're not genuine Lego. I've never seen anyone list things as genuine Lego for a start. Whether this is a new fad by the anti-bootleg brigade to report as many sellers across a range of platforms I'm not sure. I'm pretty sure I had an order from Tom arrive a week or so ago? In fact I did... it came last week and it was the Flash set and the Decool wave with Brainiac. All arrived no problem although the shipping was marked as sent long before the tracker kicked in... they arrived around 7 days after it was listed as being picked up so i'm not sure they're ever for the right parcel... but I can ignore that as long as they get here. How store does seem to have gone though.

As an army builder it's quite a good set. They also released a Republic Striker Class Starfighter with some good figs, a Sith Fury Class Interceptor and a Jedi Corvette Cruiser... Each of them with key minifigs to the game. The teaser footage for that game was probably the best 10 minutes or so of Star Wars footage I've seen outside of the OT and makes those figs/sets very worthwhile.

That's in the SY set though... Is Kire talking about a different Decool figure? Nobody has done a banner figure yet. (Although I've got a custom Banner & Coulson on the way ;) )

That's the HYDRA soldier from the jeep set isn't it?
