  1. This is great one of the best sc-fi movies of all time, reproduced spectacularly in Lego. Cant wait too see more
  2. This is such a great mod, a lot of time and thought went into this & the outcome is fantastic! This is how Lego should have made the Haunted house.
  3. Very interesting thanks for sharing & a side note : if you live in Australia you can double all those prices & the price per piece/gram makes Lego not worth buying,Untill there is a sale on that matches the U.S prices.

  6. After missing out on buying a Metro liner 4558 in the box for $50 that's right $50! ( i rang the seller up asked for him to hold it for me, which he agreed, then i traveled the hour and half drive time to get it ,only for him to sell it to another guy for who offered him $55 I was so angry and upset i packed up a lot of my sets and sold them. I still buy the occasional set however my interest is just not there anymore. and the hustle and bustle which used to be the 'Lego Room' of the house, just sits there gathering dust, which the occasional quick loop around the train tracks.
  7. Thanks for the info i have a Jaycar where i live i will drop in and see what they have.
  8. Hi all i have purchased some 9 volt trains from Germany recently , they use a different power supply rating to where i Live In Australia. I am wondering if anyone else has bought trains from Germany to use in Australia & if you need a Europe adapter from a hardware store to use them? Or is there any place that i can purchase just the wall plug? or do i have to have a whole new speed regulator to use it in Australia Thanks
  9. Great Review thanks. I think the minifigure accessories like hats & some torso's are the best thing about this series, Overall not a series im going to get to excited about. might buy 1 or 2 figs just for the hair pieces.

  14. This series to me looks ok, not as good as series 11. I think the Robot zombie looking minifigs are cool and the Cop looks like the liquid metal motorcycle cop from Terminator 2

  17. This is a great Lego game exploring the city is so much fun and so many great superheros. Its a all round great game and 2player mayhem is so much fun.
  18. I also have a substantial investment in power functions My Maersk,2x cargo trains, red passenger train,Emerald night, Horizon express all have there own PF & track which includes Double crossover 7996 etc. I had no interest in 9v for a long time until i managed to pick up a cheap 9v train in a local classifieds. I really like the ease of how the 9v motor makes any train motorized in seconds. I run a small 9v loop in the center of my 2x pf loops, and i really enjoy the 9v, however i still prefer the PF due to how easy track & spare parts are to come by.( also due to the massive amounts of money spent lol) My advice would be try to get a 9v set and have a small loop at home then at least you will have a 9v track etc to use at displays.
  19. Hi all im a long time lurker ( about 6 months) and have finally decided to join in. I have always been a big fan of Lego and had a lot space sets when i was a kid, then moved onto castle & city sets. In my teenage years i was right into the pirates theme , then in my early 20's i turned towards the Lego video games more than buying sets. now being in my 30's i have turned back to buying sets .This time im into everything Lego trains and some city, but mostly trains. Im hoping to meet other people from around the Adelaide / South Australia area to talk about favorite sets, and building techniques and just Lego in general.
  20. I wasn't a fan of the He when it first came out and never really looked into buying it, Until about 3 months ago there was a sale at my local toy shop and i was itching for a new train so decided to take the plunge and just buy it. Im glad i did, Until you have seen the He built and running yourself no pictures or videos on the net do it justice. its a great Train & i was really surprised that after building it i actually really liked it, & to think i wasn't even going to buy it.
