    I have bought an Ausini train, the only one i could actually find, its the steam train type loco with a few carriages. I would like to get them all but sadly no place sells them unless you want to buy a lot of them at once for the manufacturer to make them. I really enjoyed the train, the quality compared to enlighten was far better. the bricks had great clutch power and the train wheels roll better than Enlighten trains. The only odd thing was the Minifigs, i threw them out they are horrible looking things, brown skin and funny legs with evil looking eye's. More track would have been nice i got a half circle in my box :( lucky the track fits Lego & Enlighten perfectly.

    I hate to think how ridiculously overpriced it will be in Australia, the land of Price gouging!

    I got a small tub of Lego from a Garage sale for $30 Aud, At the bottom of the tub was two 9 volt train motors & a My Own Trains 10017 Hopper wagon ( i thought the hopper wagons white bricks were all stained turns out that's the official color of the bricks lol)

    My advice save your money & don't buy Lego Train track, buy Enlighten Train track fits perfectly with Lego and a quarter of the price , Then you will have more money to spend on the actual Lego Trains Etc

    Not a huge fan of either train, i do like the cargo train's gantry crane and office, & the Rolling stock of cable rolls. Im hoping for another Expert train to come along this year.

    Hi & welcome. for me it was the Lego Video games that got me interested in Lego again.

    The Train Station Looks appalling, the design makes it look like some Lego Clone knock off. Im keeping well away for that monstrosity.

    I think both trains are a too basic, clearly geared towards 'kids'.However I know as soon as i see these trains on the shelf i will buy them.( and probably be disappointed) but at least i will have more trains. I hope we get some adult trains like the Horizon,Emerald or Maersk. wishful thinking?

    Good question, my local K-mart had only gotten in the monster fighters theme about 6 months ago, they have (as of count today) 16 sets of the HH on the shelf. I would say k-mart being a low-high retailer ( hence not getting the monster fighters till very late) we might still have to wait a few weeks to see the best discount, Until they reduce it to sell just above there purchase price,but i expect the [price to go back up soon before it drops again. Thats my theory anyway

    The First thing i noticed on the blue cargo train is the studs on the nose, i would replace those bricks with plates then finish it off with tiles to get a smooth surface. I just hope the train is detailed and not a bland train for kids.

    Same here . I just hope the house is a decent modular size, and not a $330 15cm high mini house.

    Great review thanks. This is the only set i would consider buying from the new 'Lego Movie theme', the ice cream truck is a must have
