Here is scaffolding I did a while back.

Does it matter? You either ewant a complete Horizon Express or you don't. It will be more expensive to buy a second train in a year than the Mixer.
-
If you want a complete train buy the second horizon express.

This really is such a cool, unique shape I bet it would look great in a layout. Especially next to the lower, patio/deck side.
-
Great idea, we also have a bunch of those and aside from my con do building I wasn't sure what to do with them.
-
Truck looks good, I thought the side stripes were brick built for a sec.
-
Seems like the lights should be multicolor. Otherwise it looks good.

When I saw the title, I was hoping it was this. Love it.

One way to slow the coaster car would be if it hits a series of spring-loaded arms that have some give. Each one would slow the car down a little so that when it reaches the chain-lift the change in speed wouldn't be as abrupt.

Impressive work. How are you doing the tracks?

So you can get all of th e bricks needed for a UCS level snowspeeder, plus shipping from several stores, for $50? If you already have most of the parts, sure.

You're not going to bricklink all new parts for a big UCS snowspeeder for $50.

They are smiling because they get to pilot a sweet as heck set. Fighting AT-ATs was a fraction of what the pilots actually did. Flying is fun, which is why they are smiling.

Love it. I dig the wrench fence for the flower bed. I think the black sign would be lower as part of the first floor.
-
Super groovy, love the irregular shape.
-
I manage to get one more floor on it; here it is in our club, DixieLUG, layout from a show this past weekend.

Clever

So I've finished fiddling with it and made the most of all the bricks int he set. Here are some good photos of the final state.

I love it. What about changing that white tile below the front of the door to blue? The hood needs black and that lower big in the center. What did you use for the blue kidney grille?

I love these big long trains but they always look a little goofy going around Lego's tight curves. They really are suited to the large radius cubes made by other companies.

2017 Speed Champions Sets - Rumours and Discussion
gotoAndLego replied to BrickJagger's topic in LEGO Town
IMO the Bugatti is just OK. The rear light, while a cool solution, is not very accurate since the rear of the car isn't that triangular or curved. They should have gone with a plate solution for better accuracy. My favorites are the Old GT, AMG Merc, New GT, Audi R8, the Porches, and then the Bugatti. I'm saying this as someone who has not applied the stickers since I will want to take them apart and make other cars. The R8 required a small mod of the front bumper to look good without stickers; I split the front curves into two rows, white on top and black on the bottom. I still don't regret buying the Bugatti, if for no other reason than having an additional car on our club layout and kids don't really care about such things. -
Looks great and chunky, but shouldn't the rear lightbar should be the full width of the rear?

Advice on displaying a layout at a local train show
gotoAndLego replied to ecmo47's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Glad it was successful and the layout looks great. For the times you want to give your trains a break consider what has been immensely popular with the kids at our displays. Attach the Duplo Thomas to a 9V engine and have it pull some cars. -
Except for the tan quarter arches the parts are all from the set.
-
Yeah, my Apple Store was more American, a standalone modern tan and glass building.
