  1. Here it is finished in the DixieLUG layout at a recent show.
  2. Helmet display is all wrong, they would never be that high. Think your showroom interior needs some reworking.
  3. Nice shaping, the doors are perfect. Love it.
  4. Have you tried doing a bit of curve to the rear-sides of the cabin?
  5. Or you just make it in LDD and post that file.
  6. Both look great. I like the white on the hood and front of the new one.
  7. It's a dog-show-themed car and she is there covering the dog show for her blog or YouTube channel. Or she is practicing to go to Westminster and the camera is there to check her dog's stacking. Or maybe she does dog grooming and drives or is driven to clients in the dog themed car. It's not like this is the only Friends set people will have; kids who buy this will have additional figs to put in the car and stage interview? i see the car as a spoof of the van in Dumb and Dumber.
  8. And back then people complained that the Black Pearl was a play set rather than big Imperial Flagship boats. Lego is dammed if they do and dammed if they don't.
  9. I like that you've built the demise of your Lego towns; once a big box shop like Target or Walmart opens up, all those small mom and pop shops you've built close down.
  10. I have both and PR is superior IMO unless you prefer boxy buildings. Of course BB is kind of squat compared to the other modular so and needs to be taller; I added an extra row of windows to the third floor which you can see towards the end of the BB review thread.
  11. I know everyone give Assault on Hoth grief, and rightly so to some degree, but being a bunch of separate components is the best way for it to be a play set. How are you going to play a full battle with AT-ATs and snow speeders if its all clumped together. That being said, I never considered it a UCS set in the same way the 2010 Tantive 4 wasn't, regardless of the number of pieces.
  12. I doubt Lego would include the full size ones so using micro fighters is a great way to include those ships in the set. Good idea.
  13. Love it. The first photo shows where the citizens can buy extra heads. :D
  14. Consider doing a World's Fair style building or venue. You could have booths or rooms for each country, which would be a good use for some of the collectible figs, but you might not be able to use the entirety of each architecture set.
  15. Sides are only visible if wider than the building it is next to. Consider using your ugly colors for the center of the sides.
  16. They look much better; here's some more inspiration. https://www.flickr.com/photos/at94/
  17. That's a pretty massive display for your VIP card.
  18. Looks good, can we see a side shot of the sign. For the bridge I think it could use some tall inverted slopes to fill the gap.
  19. Do those trucks normally have that much space between the front tires and their wheel wells?
  20. The grey top of the right side looks unfinished when compared to the left side.
  21. Very nice, they look like big buildings as opposed to just a smaller building repeated several times. I also like the small florist between the larger ones. I do think it would look better if you made the middle florist taller as opposed to just repeating it on the other side; maybe increase the space between the sides.
  22. Looks good and it doesn't have the problem your XL Pet Shop has where the space between the two center windows is double the other windows. Much more cohesive design here.
  23. They kind of did that with the first floor of Market Street.
  24. Its just two of these with a 1x8 tile on top. I took one of the black fences that came with the set and used it on the Parisian Restaurant's second floor front since it fits better there.
  25. How would that work with displaying next to the others?
