  1. ^ Nice. No need to double post your pictures in this thread and the other thread you started.
  2. Welcome aboard, Farino.
  3. Cool. I would've prefered to hear the sound of the GBC working versus the music sound track in the video. The sounds of motors, gears, compressors...now that's real music.
  4. Nice counterbalance forklift. I would be more concern with the lack of overhead protection for the operator.
  5. Looks good. The train down the street reminds of me some parts of the world where it is so crowded that buildings go right up to the tracks. I see you enjoy using tiles too.
  6. Thanks. You have been a bad senator from Naboo... Day 065 of 365: Four Shades of Grey by dr_spock_888, on Flickr Aw, Nuts! Day 066 of 365: Aw Nuts! by dr_spock_888, on Flickr Jar Jar believed crop circles were made by landing flying saucer. There are going to be holes in that theory. Day 067 of 365: Crop Circle Theory by dr_spock_888, on Flickr That made me smiled.
  7. Probably to get you to buy the set for the clearly printed instructions. Interestingly the B model of some new technic sets PDF instructions are crystal clear.

  9. Awesome. A giant peeping Tom too. Extra points for brick building the background instead of photoshopping it. Congrats on being blogged by The Brothers Brick.
  10. Cool builds. The sticker work is excellent. I don't remember those arcade machines. Is there such a thing as Arcade Dark Age? That pistol joystick looks dangerous for the minifig player.
  11. I think pirates could be like independent contractors, no loyalty to any country. Contracted to provide a service or seize opportunities on their own initiatives. They can be handy if you need something done and not have it tied back to your fraction. Indifferent would be a start unless you're the one being plundered.
  12. Welcome aboard, Oli. Twins are twice the fun.
  13. Welcome to Eurobricks.
  14. I think that is what is a called a permanent display.
  15. Nice. I like your scene lighting.
  16. Package of goodies arrived today. Thanks CopMike.
  17. I trust Lightningtiger too.
  18. Nice Idea. You could also say presenting my MOC. By the way, it could make a great LEGO Ideas. That way you can get around the Eurobricks Site Guidelines regarding posting for the sole purpose of pushing an Idea. Is there a Tinkerbell?
  19. I think you'll have to take legal action against the party involved. If he is in a different country, it may get complicated and expensive. Maybe we need an association like the MPAA (Motion Picture Association of America). Perhaps MBA (MOC Builders Association) to fight intellectual property violations.
  20. Great job. I like the video without the music better.
  21. You may have to wrestle with the fact that they are different from the old OT stormtroopers. They don't look too bad mixed in with other members of the Empire. Non-diehard fans may not even notice. Day 042 of 365: Cage Grudge Match by dr_spock_888, on Flickr
  22. I think USA is the lowest. I don't think it is a simple as a straight currency conversion. There are sales taxes, cost of doing business in the country (employee wages, pension benefits, employment insurance, health insurance, business supplies and services, tranportation costs, real estate costs, import tariffs, corporate taxes, etc), local market competition that can influence the local price. In USA and Canada, the advertized price does not include local state and federal taxes. They are added on at the time of purchase.
