  1. You use the hand of god or do like this guy: We don't need no stinking ramps.
  2. Man, the printing is really good. STAMP becomes PRAMP.
  3. Funny you should ask. We recently had a discussion on that about a couple month ago. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=106241
  4. Welcome aboard. There is a new Mercedes Acrocs truck for the 2nd half of 2015.
  5. I made a little order picker and warehouse rack for my daily photo project. I took a forklift course last year and was told to always wear a safety harness when working at height. This could happen if you don't. Day 148 of 365: Order Picker by dr_spock_888, on Flickr
  6. LOL, that's trooper is unusually not male. A quick MOC for a quick photo: Day 151 of 365: Anti-aircraft Practice by dr_spock_888, on Flickr
  7. Welcome to Eurobricks.
  8. Neat. I think they can work as bubble tea cups with a bigger hole and straw. We have used them for beer vessels in a pinch..
  9. For vacation travel pictures, I think it would work better to have backgrounds not so blurry if the intent is to show viewers the places you've been. Baker Street is a great shot.
  10. Hmm, I plead toy train creative license of not having to follow to scale on everything for the "easy" part. It can be done to 4 wide track. LEGO had curved 4 wide track in the Alien Conquest Mothership. Ashi Valkoinen did a nice 4 wide drive motorized bogie for his Stadler that can be adapted here. The Zilletalbahn D13 diesel-hydraulic engine also pulls passenger cars if one doesn't like freight train.
  11. If you like the Maersk style but not the price and don't need to have Maersk blue, you could get the blue 60052 train set and modify the engine into the GP40 style of the Maersk engine. Zephyr1934 wrote up some excellent instructions: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=108434 60052 comes with tracks and power functions to get you started. Otherwise, you'll have to tack on the costs of those to the Maersk set to get running. The container cars and containers build instructions can be found on lego.com. You could brinklink the parts in less expensive non-Maersk blue colors. Some parts can be found the Pick A Brick wall in the LEGO retail stores from time to time. If you really want the Maersk blue, then prepare to pay a handsome amount.
  12. Welcome Alex.
  13. There are some pics in this recent topic: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=109742
  14. With good light and a tripod, I find I can get a pretty good shot out straight out of a DSLR without any post processing other than resizing and watermark. I don't have the patience or skills to spend hours in Photoshop. There is a bit of learning curve with DSLRs, I think the results are worth it. Fencing Lunge by dr_spock_888, on Flickr You can also on flickr see what kind of camera (and lens) your favorite MOCers are using (if they didn't hide or remove the EXIF information).
  15. Waxed my car.
  16. 8421 and 8285. While shopping for LEGO in 2005-2006, I examined them at the store and thought my kids were too young for them and bought more age appropriate sets instead.
  17. Neat. Does it have a tail?
  18. Nicely done. Love those yellow blue color combinations.
  19. Thank you. Thanks. It is rocking lipstick tipped flick-fired rockets under the wings. Thank you. Thanks LT. What is tomorrowworld train? I am afraid I am not familiar with that. Thank you. Thanks Ben. Maybe I should bring it to BrickFete? Thanks. I hope the girls will find it cute and get a few new female train fans into the hobby.
  20. Looks like an easy MOD of the 60098 Heavy Haul engine and add some Zillertalbahn stickers.
