  1. Good stuff, you found the work around. I usually use the copy and paste method and manually type in the img tags if there are not there like for Brickshelf images. Microsoft is replacing Internet Explorer in Windows 10 with Edge browser (nee Spartan).
  2. Neat. It appears to be playing the same 4 basic chords. Someone should make one to play LEGO Rock Band.
  3. Welcome to Eurobricks.
  4. Welcome aboard, Bill.
  5. The balls directly from LEGO Bricks and Pieces is 94 cents Canadian which higher than average Bricklink prices. Prices may be different in the Netherlands. Link to balls elements: https://service.lego...lBrickBuy/72824
  6. Great build. The lighthouse is well done. The water and mermaids details seem to be blown out on my screen.
  7. ^^^Clever. What camera and lens do you use?
  8. You could make a Mindstorm controlled GBC machine using the Technic balls that came with the NXT set. Those balls are 16.5mm versus 14mm for the usual soccer balls. The only problem is you may not be able to be part of a bigger GBC collaborative display if you don't build to the standards. How about a NXT CNC milling machine? 3D chocolate printer?
  9. Random draws are fun and easier than having to build sometihng. Once a states or province hit 75 winners, any more entries randomly drawn from that state or province will not be valid. That's how I understand it. I'll have to remember to email my entries. It doesn't look too hard to build your own. I imagine the tires will show up in other sets. It's kind of expensive to make a new tire mold to only use on one revenue earning set and 750 copies of a freebie contest set.
  10. Built a 12V to 9V convertor box to drive my GBC.
  11. machine
  12. It doesn't have to be only 9V tracks; you can also get Arduino work with the 12V track and Power Function tracks.. I've just started using Arduino with Power Function trains. You can connect different type of sensors to Arduino--light, magnetic, RFID, etc.
  13. Perhaps they are not planning to sell it online any longer and stores will sell through whatever inventory they have on hand.
  14. Welcome aboard.
  15. Welcome aboard.
  16. Welcome to Eurobricks. IT is fun.
  17. I bought a couple switch tracks recently and the packaging was the same as when I bought a couple switch tracks back in 2011. I guess they made x number of sets on the first production run and it'd take years and years for them to eventually sell through the inventory stock. Long sales cycle it would appear. Kinda like the LUG patches I had made years ago and I still have a few that haven't sold yet.
  18. Welcome to Eurobricks.
  19. Drats, only new creations. Hulk is angry that I can't use my old photos a day... Day 076 of 365: I Am Not A Leprechaun by dr_spock_888, on Flickr Going to have to come up something new.
  20. I think that's a chance you'll have to take or convince someone else to try it first. I paid $5 USD plus free shipping for 100 plastic beads from China. There was a size difference: Lego ball = 14.07 mm beads = 13.5 to 13.7 mm If they don't work, you could make a necklace for someone.
