^Clever sportive schoener. Hmm, which one to shoot first?

Nice, I like the look of the loco. What are you going to replace the helicopter and backhoe with?

I finished my drum brake replacement today. It wasn't too bad except for the return spring. I think disc brakes might be easier for me--not as many springs to keep track and put back. Also adjusted the parking brake lever.

Outdoor photography is dangerous. I got a bunch of mosquito bites from taking this shot. Shoot and run Unimog Logging by dr_spock_888, on Flickr -
GBC General Discussion
dr_spock replied to Jim's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I have so many of them and it beats changing batteries for stationary displays. I did the battery box MOD a couple of years ago: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=84269 With my MOD, I can unscrew and move the jack aside and put in AA batteries if necessary but I won't be able to put the cover back on due to the wires and jack dangling out. If you use a 9V switching power supply wall wart, the voltage will be at 9V. If you have an old transformer type wall wart, then the voltage could be a bit higher. I recently made a 12V to 9V converter so that I can power my GBC off a 12V lead acid battery power pack. I can run nonstop several hours outdoors where there is no AC outlet to plug in. Displaying GBC in a park can have its own challenges like rain, balls lost in the grass, blowing dirt getting in the GBC, kids with sticky fingers...- 1,124 replies

Mega Bloks makes a plate like that. I don't know if it is MB patented or not but it would be interesting if LEGO had to license it from MB.

I think "Useless" parts could make interesting seed parts for Iron Builder contests.

Sounds like as much fun as my fan controller module replacement the other day. I had to take apart a good part of the left side of the car to get to it.

I don't think we want to discourage people from posting or commenting. Remember how quiet the Technic forum was 5 or so years ago? Maybe add a few more moderators and regulators to keep the forum tidy if the workload is an issue. -
Any tips for Restoring adhesive strength of 90s 9V train stickers?

A dab of white glue could hold it in place. -
Why is LEGO now being made in China?
dr_spock replied to 9v system's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Cost savings in China may or may not translate higher profits. You could use the savings to pay your employees or management more or offset decreases in revenue. -
Good job.

Maybe he wanted some place to put up photos that aren't MOCs or set reviews. There is something similar in the other forums like Star Wars. Day 161 of 365: Weed Whacking by dr_spock_888, on Flickr -

Maybe they can be merged into a single topic. -
Welcome to Eurobricks, Zodack. Happy birthday.

Cleaned and dried out my LEGO. It was a rainy picnic event yesterday. The splashing rain water off the tent also coated my boxes with mud.

I think their servers are down. I am not getting through.

My daughter said to me, "People need to learn patience these days." Maybe this is the game to teach it.
