  1. You need to fix those first 2 pictures because, from what I can see in the others, I think I love that Mini!
  2. Welcome to EB, emporio! Star Wars sets are a lot of fun with some interesting building techniques, but if you're open to other themes I'd certainly recommend the Modular Buildings for larger builds, and things like the Speed Champions cars for smaller but still interesting builds. Specifically, the Saturn V rocket is a great set and the building techniques employed throughout are really fun... plus it's priced very well for its size. Happy building!
  3. Looks good. I like the little details like the fence in the side yard and the trash bin. Do you have any more photos of it, and is there an interior?
  4. Hi Mick200481! Welcome to EB! That's part of Imperial Shuttle Tydirium, set number 75094. In the future, there is a special topic for help identifying sets and pieces: Happy building!
  5. I think the gun store needs a bigger sign. But really, what a great little chunk of town! Nice job on the characters, too - lots going on there and it pulls you right in.
  6. Nice MOC, and the photography with those red bricks on the white carpet really sells it! Well done.
  7. Wow - that's great! The lettering is really nice as is the overall shape. I agree that the front could be a little more interesting because of courses it's a toaster, but also a restaurant so some liberties are to be expected. Even something as simple as the row of non-profile bricks being made clear so there's some kind natural light/windows for the occupants would keep the look but (in my opinion) make it even more believable as a themed restaurant. Regardless, I think it's lovely!
  8. Welcome to EB, Fireraven! Looking forward to seeing what you pull up form that creative well!
  9. Hi XBrickmonster. That info is included in the site FAQs which you should take a look at. Specifically, here's the spot where the avatar icons (badges) and caption are talked about: Happy building!
  10. Yes, it would be helpful to know what you're trying to sell. Places like Etsy have ready-made systems to help you do that, and there are plenty of hosting providers that have drag-and-drop type implementations for shopping cart systems and such that you can easily incorporate into your site. But depending on what you're wanting to see, there also might be some specific services already in place, like Bricklink.
  11. I think it captures the feel of the scene really well! I'm impressed with how well you've captured and presented the various important elements in a MOC of this small size. Well done!
  12. Agreed- the one on the right might be a little less technically accurate in some ways, but it captures the feeling better, in my opinion.
  13. I'll echo what everyone else said: Beautiful inside and out! The exterior design of the building is great in those colors, and that planet dome matches better than I thought it would. Some nice creative work on all the different exhibits inside as well. Bravo!
  14. That's great... but the poor turtle! The arms/guns on the underside are a nice touch and keep the scorpion feel going. So, when do we see the Blacktron Exo-Suit to go with it?? Most of the ones I've seen haven't been evil enough.
  15. Hi Matt - welcome to EB! Nice to have you here with us. Happy building (and sorting)!
  16. Nice! Simple but effective design on the trailer, too!
  17. Very nice. The fenders, grill, and and side steps have nice details and integration, and just a great look overall. I'd agree some chrome instead of gray would really make it pop (if you've got it, of course). Well done!
  18. Welcome to EB, Eric! Looking forward to seeing some of those great animals.
  19. We did that, too. The spreadsheet has a column for what was paid or just retail price if we're not sure, then a column for the current going rate. I also added some other stuff just for fun like part count, theme, etc., even though there are plenty of other services that track all of that. Also, I track condition of the sets (new in box, opened but with saved box, loose) since that of course also affects the value. I also keep a list of sets that my kids get, so that, should they enter a dark ages but later want "their" Lego back, we can be equitable about that. My biggest issue is that I'm bad on keeping up with it. Every time I purchase something I should add it, but I end up playing catch-up a couple times a year instead.
  20. Our agent explained that it would be covered under our blanket, but only up to a certain point. That is, even if the blanket coverage has a limit of $1M, it still has some sub-categorization limits (so personal electronics & entertainment/AV equipment might be covered up to $50K of that, computers up to $25K, "collectibles" would be up to some other amount, etc.) and in our case they said that the Lego would fall under "collectibles" and the sub-limit for that wasn't sufficient for what we've got, so we added a rider for it specifically the same way we have a little extra, specific coverage for a couple pieces of high-value jewelry but let the rest fall under the blanket. I'm sure this differs by policy and state (we're in AZ) and whatnot, but I would absolutely ask that question, and maybe give them a scenario: "Let's say my house burns down. I have a lot of Lego, and now it's a big pile of melted plastic and I want to replace it. I estimate it's worth $XXXXX. Will I get reimbursed for that full amount?" For us, because the dollar amount was substantial, we were able to add a separate rider for a still reasonable cost, but we needed to document the collection (pictures, a spreadsheet with values, etc.). So we have that done for the well-inventoried items and the higher-value individual sets, but then still a lot of loose brick that we do have listed with a general bulk value, but our understanding is that some of that could be claimed under the blanket policy without an issue.
  21. Here's the image in question (and they say it's 4.8x larger than the London Bus): https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DGJ-a9OUIAA-wyf.jpg:large Twitter user @bryanmorse182 flipped it and pushed the contrast a bit and says you can see the Lego logo in the corner and a Millenium Falcon cockpit under it (top left corner)... and who knows if he's just playing around or what, but I definitely see it! Could be a different form factor box for such a large set- nothing that says it has to be a huge rectangle. Here's that image: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DGKEKmZUwAEARo-.jpg:large
  22. Should be a fun build, and sounds like you did pretty well on the expensive colors (even with the added shipping for 27 orders). What's with that turntable, though? Just out of curiosity- is it a special color as well or something? Looks like it's a regular black 3403c01 which Bricklink seems to have readily available for under 10 cents.
  23. That's really well done, and what a great gift! The lettering is spot-on, and nice mix of chrome elements in there to really make things pop.
  24. You cannot start a topic in Buy Sell Trade until you have 100 posts. It's in the Eurobricks FAQ. Stick around and become a bigger part of the forum and discussion first.
  25. Welcome to EB, fritz4783! Looking forward to seeing you and your builds around the board. Happy building!
