  1. Interesting take on the specific dimensions. I think the issue is mainly how much advantage there is to having those exact dimensions vs the cost. For instance, a regular Akro Mils or U-Line bin that's nearly the same, like this one (https://www.uline.com/Product/ProductDetailRootItem?modelnumber=S-12414) would work almost as well in most cases. The inside dimensions of that one are 6 13/16 x 3 1/2 x 2 5/8" m vs your proposed size which is 6" x 3.5" x 3.15" and it does have the open front and such that makes it not quite as ideal, but it only costs $1.50USD per bin. Or an Akro Mils 24-drawer cabinet with the drawers being 2-3/16"H x 4-1/2"W x 6"D, which again isn't too far off your proposal, and runs about $35-40USD. The key would definitely be mass production...
  2. Delightful! Your penguins are surprisingly posable and emotive for having just a few points of articulation. That frustrated walrus is great as well, and NPU with the golf clubs & bag, as well as the penguin bellies!
  3. Beautiful- love the colors, too! The cyprus trees work great there as large topiaries... if only there were more available in real brick!
  4. I love your vehicles and it's great to see how you've constructed them, but I do agree with koalayummies about the volume. Maybe 1 thread a week with that week's MOCs vehicle MOCs? That way it stays fresh and people can still discover your stuff regularly, but it would count down on the total thread count. Back to this MOC- It's lovely, and interesting to see the similarities between this and the vintage car you posted earlier today. And I just noticed you had a parts list as well; not sure if you've been doing that for a while or not, but that's awesome, too. Thanks!
  5. Lovely. Great job on the sails and that little bit of rigging- just the right amount of added detail. NPU with the banana and the rest of the bow shaping, too. Yes... let's see that Caribbean Clipper!
  6. My first thought was, "An 8-wide modular? That's silly." but looking at the detail you put into it, I'm impressed! And there are plenty of buildings out there that really are ridiculously narrow, having been built into a former alleyway, etc.. I especially like the back of the building and those curved stairs!
  7. The car is great, but I must say that your skyline in the background is outstanding. Beautiful build all-around!
  8. Laser printer might do better because it's continuous color, not layered ink droplets... but you might need to look at the specific colors you're using as well. I'm no expert, but you might need to change the colors to be more "print-safe" as far as the gamut, or it could simply be a matter of you designing things in RGB and the conversion to CMYK is causing the degradation in print quality with dithering and whatnot. Probably the first thing I'd try because it's the easiest is to re-design some of the items you've done but start the new file in the CMYK color space (assuming Krita supports it) and see if you get better results.
  9. That's pretty sweet! Was hoping to see a big platter of Batman thermidor at the end, though. I really like the way the lower legs are attached, and the use of the worm gear for detailing on the arms.
  10. Fantastic! Beautiful scaling to the size of the rowboat hull. I'd buy a whole series of these! FYI, the very small amount of space to upload images on Eurobricks is intended for things like images in your signature line, etc., and not for hosting images of MOCs. Consider using Flickr or another free service so you can share more of your creations! Here's a tutorial on linking/embedding Flickr images in your posts: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/97921-flickr-tutorial/
  11. Lovely! The way you've incorporated the "North Pole" is great. I think I may just do something similar as I had been contemplating a tunnel for the the train myself! I don't know about the carousel right next to the train tracks - seems like an accident waiting to happen - but given how compact the overall layout is while still looking great, I suppose that's an acceptable risk.
  12. I'm sure we'd like to see your years of work - please work on getting the image up on a suitable host so you can share! Here's a tutorial on linking/embedding Flickr images in your posts: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/97921-flickr-tutorial/
  13. Howdy and welcome (back) to EB, CappnRob! Looking forward to seeing you and the minifigs around the boards!
  14. That's great! Especially Chewie's head used for the beard/jaw, and the posing. Really nice, and very creative. As someone on Flickr said, definitely a nice Jim Henson vibe.
  15. Fantastic! The tipper is surprisingly spacious and functional even at this scale. Another great job... and thanks again for sharing!
  16. Welcome to EB, Scott! That's a nice list of classic sets you have there- definitely brings back some memories for me as well. Looking forward to seeing your hockey venue when it's done - happy building!
  17. Welcome to EB, vrednaya_chaika! You have plenty of good company here with both the minifigs and Nexo Knights. Happy building!
  18. Welcome to EB, StormtrooperEll! Happy building!
  19. One of my favorites so far. Really nicely done, as usual!
  20. Very simple yet effective. NPU on the plants, the windows as windowpanes works really well, and the lighting for the picture is great and really helps sell it.
  21. Welcome to EB, Wildcat33! Sometimes it's OK to give in to an addiction... and you'll have some good company here. Happy building!
  22. Welcome to EB, Ming! I'd love to see some of that over in Sci-Fi. Happy building, and I look forward to seeing you around the boards!
  23. Now that is... really... something. Gruesome, but I think I love it! The Ewok burger production line is especially well done.
  24. Welcome to EB, Cobin77!
  25. That is all kinds of fun... and surprisingly effective propulsion!
