    I motorized mine,but the mod construction was poor in some places which led me to make my own loader.

    A linear gearbox is your best bet,but I agree with the Duplomuppet9 that I don't think the gears would last very long under the tourqe of two XL motors.

    Mine did not jump while it slewed,I would look to see if you have missed a step.

    I would think you would be better with a drive shaft setup rather than a chain driven one.

    No I have not tried it out side. You can buy all your parts including a micro motor from Bricklink.

    Here is a picture of my grab. The grab on the 420006 can be motorized by adding the micromotor directly to the mini LA and that adding a linkage from the grab to the arm of the excavator.

    Glad you got it working,you need to be 100% accurate when adding the commands in the right place.

    Yes I made a rotating grab for mine using one micro motor and a extra receiver.

    Hello bats the easiest way to try and solve the issue would be if you could you share the cad file or or cut and past the relevant MLcad code. Have you made sure you have checked the buffer commands to make sure you have done every thing correctly? There is a brief guide on buffer exchange on my blog,maybe you should look at that to see if you can find any errors. Buffer Exchange guide on my blog.

    Do you have any problem with the the mini LA'S clutch kicking in before the max/min travel of the piston under the weight/strain of the model? On my upcoming truck I used one to lift the rear axle,but is struggles to lift it,I had to add a linkage and a rubber band to help it.
