  1. What I mean by the highlighted location is the step that shows any arrows and/or parts 'floating in the air' to help the user add those parts to the main model.
  2. Thanks Philo, that fixed the color error. Lipko is what is in this pdr what you are trying to achieve with a straight LSynth flex hose shown in the bill of materials as well as showing a bent version on a model?
  3. You should not have to use the 'ghost command' unless the part/sub model in getting in your way for building the rest of the model. Try arranging the order of the parts you want to use buffer exchange on,this can be done in the parts list control window of MLcad. You have to store the highlighted location first along with any arrows,the 'store' command should sit on top of all of these parts. 0 BUFEXCHG A STORE 1 0 -10 -32 0 1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 30071.dat 3 4 -10 48 0 -15 33 0 -10 38 0 3 4 -10 48 0 -5 33 0 -10 38 0 3 4 -10 38 0 -12 36 0 -8 36 0 4 4 -12 36 0 -12 -4 0 -8 -4 0 -8 36 0 Then you need to add a step and then retrieve the buffer,then you should copy the same part as you buffered (but not in a new buffer) to show the final location of the part/s. 0 STEP 0 BUFEXCHG A RETRIEVE 1 0 -10 36 0 1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 30071.dat 0
  4. Philo,my solution is a bit easier than having to use a 'sub part command',it also calls out the size of hose required. However I just discovered that the color of the part in the bill of materials does not match with the color of the part on the model.
  5. Hello again Nathan. I think you are just simply putting the commands in the wrong place. I have made another file below you can compare to yours to figure out were you have gone wrong. 0 ROTATION CENTER 0 0 0 1 "Custom" 0 ROTATION CONFIG 0 0 0 STEP 0 1 0 -90 36 0 1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 30071.dat 0 STEP 0 BUFEXCHG A STORE 1 0 -10 -32 0 1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 30071.dat 3 4 -10 48 0 -15 33 0 -10 38 0 3 4 -10 48 0 -5 33 0 -10 38 0 3 4 -10 38 0 -12 36 0 -8 36 0 4 4 -12 36 0 -12 -4 0 -8 -4 0 -8 36 0 0 STEP 0 BUFEXCHG A RETRIEVE 1 0 -10 36 0 1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 30071.dat 0
  6. Not exactly right,I think you selected the wrong command from the list of. if you were to load my solution it will show the part which is bent in the main window and straight in the parts list box.
  7. Ok Lipko, first of all are you running the most recant version of MLcad (3.4)? If you are select from the LSynth menu (near the bottom of the menu) 'flex hose..[length of hose].. Then LSynth the hose to the required shape. Finally open the completed file In Lpub to show the completed work. I have also made some code below if you are unsure of anything. 0 Untitled 0 Name: Untitled.ldr 0 Author: LDraw 0 Unofficial Model 0 ROTATION CENTER 0 0 0 1 "Custom" 0 ROTATION CONFIG 0 0 0 STEP 0 8. Hello Nathan, If you want to make a new black ldr file with note-pad or some other text editor.Then copy the 'code' below into it then open the file with Mlcad. This should give you a rough guide on how to make Buffer Exchange do what you want. Using buffer exchange can be quite tricky at times,but with every thing it takes practice. I think the problem you made is that you misplaced the 'store' command which is important to making thing work correctly. 0 Untitled 0 Name: buffer help.ldr 0 Author: LDraw 0 Unofficial Model 0 ROTATION CENTER 0 0 0 1 "Custom" 0 ROTATION CONFIG 0 0 1 0 -10 60 0 1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 30071.dat 0 STEP 0 BUFEXCHG A STORE 1 0 -10 -32 0 1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 30071.dat 3 4 -10 48 0 -15 33 0 -10 38 0 3 4 -10 48 0 -5 33 0 -10 38 0 3 4 -10 38 0 -12 36 0 -8 36 0 4 4 -12 36 0 -12 -4 0 -8 -4 0 -8 36 0 0 STEP 0 BUFEXCHG A RETRIEVE 1 0 -10 36 0 1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 30071.dat 0
  9. What about flipping the cylinder around the other way, that will solve the bulky casing around the wheels.
  10. Read above.....^^ most Lego LUG groups will get the chance to review a couple of sets each year before they hit the shelf's for the mass market.
  11. Hello Tariq j,you may want to check out Sariel's motorized ghost ship. This may give you some ideas on how to get started with making your ship RC too.
  12. It does indeed look more deeper,Hopefully we will be able to get some better pic's soon.
  13. I have spotted a obvious problem, the lack of a lift/stair case to get between levels. You could build a glass fronted lift and have that off center in the building.
  14. Is nearly over his gearbox troubles....

  15. Welcome to Eurobricks.
  16. I don't know if this has been said already, but on Firefox you can just copy and paste the desired image size directly into the reply box via the right click menu. This means you don't have to use image tags, which make's life easier.
  17. Blakbird should have the power to merge them together, maybe he will do this at some point....
  18. Lovely town, If I may I would like to suggest some improvements to your layout. I think the harbor wall should be made higher than what it is at the moment,to 'define' it more from the sea front. I also don't really like the 'pool' area because it is not 'defined' enough from the sea,Maybe you could build a small leisure center to house a better looking pool? I am also going to have to admit I am not a fan of the church, maybe some improvements could be (funded ).
  19. Congratulates on being nominated for best layout. I really like the gunboat, can any one tell me what it is based on and is there a topic on eurobrick's about it?
  20. Welcome to Eurobricks,I hope you have a fun time on the forum.
