Out of interest would you say that if you did a nut then two half bushes then another nut on a threaded axle,would this be stronger? I do have some in my own collection,but have never used them for such a application. I suspect if you just pile on a few half bushes onto a '8' axle like I should in my example it should improve things. Although my design is small Daniel's design is much stronger still but does take up a lot more room.

Blakbird that is a good idea to save time on your side. Your idea would work fine as long as you did not need to 'thread' the cables through any thing on the model. If this was the case you would need to highlight how to do this. I could also give you a hand with LSynthing the cables if you need it..... -
What about buying ether the rechargeable or the AAA battery box and replacing the AA with it? That change should generate enough room for the receivers to be placed on top of the battery box.

Great crane Legosamigos. It is a shame you could not try and hide the receivers in a more better better place. Someones 'plugin' there site.
