Ferrari Enzo
Alasdair Ryan replied to Sariel's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
A very nice attempt at a Ferrari. I personally feel there is a bit too much of a gap between the windscreen and the wheels. -

Technic Black Parts
Alasdair Ryan replied to DrJB's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Yes lego do make black parts and yellow, red, blue, green, white to name a few...I don't get the point of this discussion at all. I wish more members would post more mocs rather than these kinds of topics.... I don't know about you but when ever I build any thing I try and match the colors of the real life counterpart, although all most all my mocs have a light brush gray chassis. -
That is a cool render Blakbird. I am heading back up the road this week to the family so I don't know how much time I will be able to spend on this truck until after the new year.

Off Loader Truck

Nice truck, with nice functions. Telescopic legs (out ways) and a nicer crane I think might of made it better. -

Try gearing the steering down more, worm gears are good for this kind of thing. Or if you have a spare £20 buy a servo motor. -

Ah I just do parts in sub-models,then my plan was to force MLcad to recognizance them as sub models. I am happy to do the cabling,if someone can join my section with legolijntje's and take it up to were most of the cabling starts. Oh and just for the record I am working from a laptop.....

Guys stop trying to make me feel clever. Glee the motor is pined on both sides using pins. -
Adjustable Spirograph
Alasdair Ryan replied to Blakbird's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Do we not have spare axles 2 notched in the arm sub models? -
Right we shall wait for the cad file of Blakbirds work, then we shall transfer the steps you and I have made into his file.

I wounder if the "extra pieces" are buffered parts that are showing? Now was there some pieces showing that you could not remove because of a bug? -
Gee's General Newbie Topic
Alasdair Ryan replied to Gee's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
There is no 14 long axle, the next size up from 12 is 16 and then 32 is the longest. -

You can off set parts by 1/2 of a stud by using 1/2 liftarms, there is also 5.5 long axles.
