  1. Sorry the woman in black's hat from her hair. Did you just cut the two pointy parts and stuck them on? Apologies for the mess I have seemed to got myself into,us technic guys don't venture out too often from our hiding hole.
  2. Would you be able to post a side on image? I can not see it very well from the picture above.
  3. I may not have any plane build experience and there is no proper contest but I need to bet this entry....
  4. Considering I never built a technic plane before I doubt it very much...
  5. My house got struck by Lightning and so I have a new title, thanks Jim. Struck by Lightning!
  6. Do you plan recreating some form of gearbox for engine speed and to generate some propeller noise? I am going to try to enter the flying themed month with something in the next month.
  7. That is were you want it to be,you don't want it to be short in movement otherwise it will limit performance.
  8. I agree it will, but for some races or trails you may find that the performance is not that great. The more advanced set ups will preform better than a basic set-up. Linkages just improve the strength of the fixing to the rest of the model.
  9. For a crawler you will need suspension to cope with uneven ground, without it your truck will roll over.
  10. Nice job Gazumpty. If I may suggest one thing is that some wee dram is going a miss in your scene.
  11. If you are off-roading in a fast car,the minute you hit a bump in the ground it will most likely flip the car. Travelling fast on uneven ground can also roll the car,so suspension helps here as well.
  12. The flagship crane of last year is good all round for LA's,gear racks,gears,beams,panels....etc.
  13. Here are some ideas I came up with, you may find it of interest.
  14. I really like that mod you did. I wish someone would try to add another boom section.
  15. Well basically you are going to need the following: 5 m motors 1 xl motor 3 recivers 2 - 3 contolers mixed gears mixed pins mixed conecters some small liftarms
  16. What about buying it of bricklink used? I know it may feel like you are paying for a lot more but you need to take into mind about how much the power function parts are going to set you back.I doubt you are going to pay less that £100 for the power function parts on there own.So for £50 extra you will get a lot more for your money.
  17. Yes you can,but the point I am making is that the 8043 is motorized anyway which gives you your stock machine then you just need to add the grab to it. For 5 motors three receivers and two controllers is going to be about £100. You might be cheaper just buying a used 8043 excavator off Ebay.
  18. If I was you I would collect the parts or buy a set for/of the 8043 excavator, you can't go wrong with that.
  19. I just saw this advert, now I know were Bonaparte makes all his money from....
  20. The buggy is defiantly my favourite.
