It does look like we are only getting two different sizes of rams. -
That crane looks quite ugly....must of been the same designer who designed the motorization of the 9396 tow-truck. But that will not stop me from buying it.

It looks smart,overall it is a nice looking and functional truck.

I have about 99% of the parts required.

I like the back and most of side of the truck you got that spot on,actually the top half of the front too. I just do not like the bottom of the front and and the panels around the cab. One way you could improve the front is by using axle joiners and connectors.

Well if it is I do hope the crane can lift more that the crane on the 8258.

This setup is how my loader works too,it would be nice if you could squeeze in a small gearbox as well (manuel).

You can manually update the rotation in each step by copying and pasting the rotation vector, then updating the page. You can sort by size,color,number.....etc by using some Lpub commands,I cant say I have ever sorted my instructions though so I can't really help you though.

Both front wheels are steering. I never saw that.

Just saw a picture it has yellow LA's not pneumatics. It is just the same as every one else has said, 8x4 white truck with crane. I also saw some springs too.

I have seven servo's and counting,I could build three. To be honest though since not every one has two servos a design that just used one would have got you more merit.

There should be a complete assembly's of the power function motors ether in the 'electric' category or in the 'other parts' category. On the first page there is a small bit which I co-wrote,that tells you how to sub parts for other parts (in this case you would want to sub the two motor parts with the complete assembly).

Sadly I don't think it is that kind of meet up,but more of a drag around some shops and a visit to a Lego park.
