I've seen the mythbusters do this sort of stuff, they tested a cage full of birds sitting and then flying and it weighed the same, air is pushing the scales down too.

Getting a buzz from doing something thats difficult is one reason but its better to build from a well thought out procedure, also some might like to work from printouts.

I noticed this with the excavator, swapping the motors helps.

Any stress would show in the drawing I would think, bumps and such, but in the video its very smooth. I just thought, there are not many mocs that create something, I think this is why people are so eager to build it.

I did have a bit of a daft idea once, video yourself taking it apart and then reverse the video, might help lol?

Lego thats half size or even quarter size might be possibe in the future with 3d printers making carbon fibre lego or something like that, this should help scaling, will need small fingers though :P

Stuff that stands out gets the most attention, no one notices the mundane, thats why yours is singled out and others are ignored. As for who reported you, could be jeaous rival, or lego might see this as a threat to profits, money has the biggest voice but does not always win. You could try different account names and descriptions of your models, see what works I suppose.
