XL Motor Issue
JM1971 replied to vmln8r's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I know with my excavator sometimes one of the motors will not work during building, swapping them all around fixes it. The motors should have connections on them like they used, I've never liked the lead being attached to it. BTW why do the motors have 4 connections? -
I got a action man deserter play-set (empty shoebox) I use that joke every year since 1977

[WIP] 4x4 Bowler Wildcat
JM1971 replied to unimog123's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Wildcats are crazy machines, looking forwards to this :D -
I hope so and those ldd instructions are sometimes impossible. If it works it should be pretty quick and looking forward to see if it does, I'll be dismantling my crawler tomorrow, the reason I haven't is my dad spent 2 days making it last last week and hes a bit narked I want to take it apart, lolz.

I see what you mean the wire is there, the beam has to be strong to hold the servo in place, I'll have to remove the red 5 beams and use a single 5 red beam instead of the 3 light grey beam in the middle, I really should test stuff before posting, oops There are two 3m red beams and six light grey, plenty. Quick Fix http://www.brickshel...ndaATC/temp.lxf The problem is assassins creed black flag, I cant stop playing

Goals: To be made with parts only from the 9398 set. 2 L motors, Servo Motor. (motors represented by other lego parts because they are not present in LDD) Front and Rear Suspention. Based on the Honda ATC because its the only bike I can think of that can use the 9398 wheels. Does anyone know a way to stop bricklink auto-fill ticking every box?
-
Not getting what you paid for should be pursued with extreme prejudice, the world would be a much better place if people were not scared of hypothetical conferences and made to look a villain for exorcising their rights.
-
Autofill cart: For some reason this fills every box on the list and you end up with much more than you need, can you get it to fill just what you need? Lost Delivery: One of my orders has not come after nearly 3 weeks, order tracking shows its in my country but no more than that, I never paid for insurance because I figured on using a paypal claim or credit card charge back if something went wrong, the seller is reputable but sometimes stuff goes missing in the post, whats the best course of action here?

Top Customer Rated Technic Sets
JM1971 replied to JM1971's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
The search is putting 1 5-star review above 20+ 4-star reviews so its not all quite in the right order really. The 41999 has 2 5-star reviews on amazon but does not show up in the search for some reason. (proberbly because not many have been sold on amazon) -
Thats a cool set. Making B models for some sets would get you noticed? For instance alternate multipe models from the 9398 set, and scaling in difficulty so new builders could start with the easy models and move onto the full crawler when they get experienced.

I've seen loads of cool mocs on this forum but how would one of these talented people go about getting a job from lego? For all I know it happens all the time but who better to ask than the eurobricks community. P.S. This is not for me, my mocs suck, lol

Technic Sets Retiring Soon
JM1971 replied to paulincanada's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
The whole concept of 'retiring' should not apply to lego, older sets could be ordered in parts or something.
