  1. Today I ordered the parts from lego and bricklink, next pay day I will get eneloop AAA batteries and get staples to make a instruction booklet with that service they do, I will post pics. Just to check, will the AAA battery box be able to supply enough power to all the motors like the expensive rechargeable one does?
  2. From lego.com 88000 (AAA Box) Holds 6 AAA batteries and delivers up to 800 mA current. You can drive 2 XL Motors or 4 Medium motors together. 8881 Each battery box can power 2 XL-Motors or 4 M-Motors at the same time. It should be the same current and voltage just lasts about half as long, I cant confirm this though.
  3. I never realized the original set had connectors sticking up out the roof, that's a bit sloppy from lego, I thought you had placed the battery box there temporary, hence moc.
  4. I see power connectors too, just one change makes it a moc? (at least thats what I thought)
  5. Making one 500 part model is tough but 3 of them is exponentially harder, GL to those who did it.
  6. So many good parts on this moc, looking forward to a vid.
  7. I bet that can pull wheelies, I like this style of construction, all business, sweet. Will be even faster with a AAA battery box
  8. Was hoping for a full rc rally car, the sets ok but a push along skip lorry does not fire my imagination.
  9. A balanced way to do this but the pf switch is just what I was looking for, nice.
  10. I'm look for a way to reverse one motor without using 2 receiver channels or cutting up extensions.
  11. Was hoping for advanced and exiting full rc models, Is there instructions for that?
  12. LT 6071? Full size... http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3792/10967132903_e10a46731c_o.jpg
  13. This reminds me of the 70's TV series 'Chopper Squad'
  14. This should be in the LDD section, my bad
  15. Made during last years lego.com competition with a povray snow addon, click pictures to download 1920x1080 images, use the images as you like or cover your own creation in festive snow, the procedure is fairly straightforward and I'll help out if necessary. Snow generator ... http://www.oyonale.c...lang=en&page=35 Uploaded some ready made files below, place makesnow.inc in the same folder as your .pov file, then copy and paste everything from snow.txt to the bottom of the your .pov file and render, change snow settings to suit. snow.zip
  16. I read it wrong, I thought there was 200,000 being made but its 20,000, at least there is some hope of still getting one.
  17. The top review mentions there are 20000 sets not been released yet ... http://www.amazon.co...howViewpoints=1 Has anyone heard something similar?
  18. So much work going into this so I had a go at adding more shine to a render. 1920x1080
  19. This cover up is deeper than you think... https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=lego+crop+circles&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=Do6UUu2UJcWShQeD9YCoDQ&ved=0CAcQ_AUoAQ&biw=1360&bih=640 Great idea, FTW.
  20. Rebrickable does import bsx and can output a xml list for bricklink.
  21. bsx file can be imported on bricklink, rebrickable Rebrickable you can create a private moc to get a parts list like this... http://farm6.staticf...e167da9e1_o.jpg I am also a Madoka fan
  22. A F1 car can be pushed with one finger they are that well balanced but a road car I dunno how much force it takes to move one, 4 XL motors is a lot of torque and those wheels are very grippy, if the driveway is inclined just right then I think its possible.
  23. Thx, there is a Staples half a mile from my house, even a small english town like mine has subway, mcdonalds, starbucks, kfc :)
  24. Very nice work indeed, I was wondering does anyone know a printing service that you can upload the pdf and they send you a binded book?
  25. Can certainly climb, monster conquers all :D
