  1. I'm both lucky and blessed to not have to suffer many of the painful medical conditions I've read through on this post, but my nature is generally I'm a very high-strung person who can get easily worked up over the silliest things. I use LEGO a LOT to help calm me down. There's just something so satisfying about fitting little blocks together into all these neat shapes. In fact, if you want to know something really neat, the Rhino I built (in my profile picture) actually was the result of a really bad day I'd had prior and I vented all that frustration into creative energy. It felt really awesome too when I showed it off to people and I got tons of compliments for it (sorry for the shameless self-promotion) :). I think when you build with LEGO you really have time to sit and think a lot, and that thinking helps you DE-stress as well as allows you to think things through.
  2. Fantastic advertisements! Get straight to the point, and are brutally honest!
  3. If only. Now people who actually don't know what the value is will randomly dump a $200 price tag in front of their old, chewed up Galaxy Explorer. Yeah but, it is a toy for children, so, yeah. Though as much as I want to agree with you, you must remember this is a toy that everyone uses, regardless of how annoying it may seem. Ah well, no reason to get upset, it's just plastic...
  4. I don't watch too much TV, but here's about the sum of my list: Futurama, The IT Crowd, Community (before season 4), Doctor Who, Spiderman The Animated Series, Eureka 7 (anime), Rick and Morty and Big School. I guess my problem is that I watch quite a bit of English TV since American stuff isn't usually to my taste... Aaaaaaand let's lock this chat while it's at its highest point. ;D The show is so terribly, horribly bad it's good. It's like "The Room" of television. It's so inaccurate, and no matter how hard you try, you just can't take it seriously.
  5. Not bad at all, certainly quite enjoyable! Good choice with the grain, covers up a lot of errors that get caught on the camera ;)
  6. 1. Edit: Airplane Stewardess (was Pilot, but forgot there's already one in series 3. Tried to make the list without looking at others people's first to see how many people have similar ideas. Seems the swamp monster is a pretty popular choice!) 2. Garbage Collector 3. Supermarket Clerk 4. Female Graduate 5. Sea Creature 6. The Fencer 7. Some sort of Space Creature/Hero 8. Roman Poet (or some sort of Ancient Rome person) 9. Traveler 10. Female Schoolteacher 11. Female Police Officer 12. Male Hip-hop dancer 13. Kung Fu Master 14. Squire 15. Sculptor 16. Journalist (Perhaps 19th century-based)
  7. That insect mech is STELLAR!
  8. Definitely Zamour sphere launcher. I blasted a bully's eye out with it when he made fun of me for still playing with bionicle. Got sent to the principal's office, but was definitely worth it. Never got teased again. ^_^
  9. Stunning execution, especially the lights!
  10. I really like the idea, but I don't feel the execution does it justice. You used some really interesting techniques, but (to me at least) the colours don't really work well together, and kind of conflict with the overall aesthetic of the build. Please don't fire at me, I'm just putting in my two cents (note that the comment is probably worth less than that ;D)...
  11. A very cool moc, but I'm impressed by the lighting, nice one!
  12. That last one is especially accurate! Wonderful job!
  13. He is one lucky bad guy, because I sure wish I had a ride like that!
  14. Wow, that's an accurate replication! Good job TLG! I don't know if anyone noticed, but the only minor thing different besides the hoses are that you have the flaps on the miniature wings in the front turned the wrong way. ;)
  15. This is why I can no longer stand to read comics. I read old but gold stuff, like Steve Ditko Spider-man, Jack Kirby Fantastic Four and Captain America, and Byrne's X-men.
  16. I wasn't even aware of this rule. Huh, learn something new every day.
  17. Nice! Simple and it works! Well done!
  18. Very cool, nicely done!
  19. Brilliant job! It's a shame LDD doesn't have printed bricks, otherwise you could use the on from the actual set. Amazing job nonetheless!
