Awesome! Although don't get to cocky, who knows where Hurricane Helga will strike next!!!! But for real, I am proud of you man! Great work here, this is one of my favorite builds you have ever done, and it really ups the ante for the whole project! The "Margot" Class Ship is definitely a beauty. But... I hate to break it to you, but every navy has 1st rates back in Halos! This is the first SOTL in New Terra though! Even Mardier has not sent one out there yet!

I see you kept the name! That surprises me! The hull curve is very nice, and I love the sails! I have been waiting to see that finished product since you teased us! from leadership.- 17 replies

You would use the same link to the moc that you used originally. If it is your free ship, you would mark it as such on the form.

Book II - Kaliphlin: Guild sign-up and Discussion
SkaForHire replied to SkaForHire's topic in Guilds of Historica
You said it is in the Inland Sea, which I assume you are more on the mainland side then the far islands as the WIP looks less tropical. I would agree with putting a little more medium flesh color into the tower. Is it going to be defensive? Or perhaps some other purpose, such as a windmill? -
Nope, they do not have cargo space to hold the bounty they are reaping.

Yes, that is totally acceptable. -
I was being sarcastic But my point is that Z had already done this a few times over, and that a theme might be more interesting.

So we would pretty much just be putting soccerkid's and LD's MOCs up (I just wanted to use smileys.) But for real, we have done that before, Z has put up a thread like that at least once, if not multiple times. The top four or "four great" by theme is an interesting concept though.

Wow! Excellent! This is a beautiful looking MOC! Remember, even though it doesn't cost you anything, you need to license the ship so that it is in the database.

I am currently (slowly) drafting out the new MRCA, I will then send those rules to you and CB4 for comment, I am looking for one more person to comment on the next draft, preferably somebody that plays strategy board games. EDIT: Oh yeah, new trade map and values have gone up

There is upkeep for factions for Ship 4 and up, these are paid after the first month the ship has been active. Next accounting period will be where we see the first upkeeps paid. There will be upkeep for vessels over class 5 for players too. Well, you have to remember that each vessel only carries a percentage of overall total value of trade or bounty. So those people who sent rafts (.5 $ value) made a decent profit for a raft, while others make a lot more for sending vessels with a 2 $ trade value. There is a random roll for intercept involved, and a random roll for how much ofthe total treasure you have access to.

Settlement: Arlinsport, Tiberia, Corrington
SkaForHire replied to SkaForHire's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Yes, the idea here was that the trade value on a place that was 200 buildings (IE 1000DB) would be way too high for game purposes, but the diminished value represents more and more traders are arriving and prices being more competitive, which leads to less individual profit per building / moc. These numbers are going to be further adjusted in MRCA V.2 -- we will probably see a tiered system (ie: Mocs: 3dbs, small properties: 5DBs medium: 8DBs Large: 10DBs) -
The Naval Licensing and Prize Court
SkaForHire replied to Bregir's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
It should be noted that this is not a national prize court of law -- ie: it does not determine the right of capture when a vessel captures another. This element of law is taken care of by individual factions and NPC nations. -

115 x .8 = 92 (new numbers after property recount) The value should go down if you multiply it by less than a whole 1.
