  1. I love that creature! I didn't realize it was a frog until I scrolled down. Nice match with the "Acid" theme.
  2. I love it! The Zyglak was one of my favoruite G1 creatures. I'm glad you kept the build of its head; it's instantly recognizable. Good job! I love these G2 updates to G1 Rahi. This and the Gadunka MOC that was posted here a while back are amongst my favourites.
  3. That's absolutely incredible! I'd like to see more of the interior, though. If this were a real set, I'd buy it, without hesitation.
  4. That's been confirmed to be fan-art, unfortunately.
  5. Normally I hate these clickbait-y "Top 10..." videos, but this one was really informative and good! The sets are all pretty old, however. I'm curious to see more recent cancelled sets.
  6. Derp, posted here earlier and I see this minutes later.
  7. Google doesn't turn up anything - any word on when the Skybound season of Ninjago will be airing?
  8. Well, Lego has never really "cared" for what minifigs fit in a set. I'm hoping for an updated Luminara and Mace Windu! Cody would be nice. Given the advent of new sub-themes (Rebels, TFA, Rogue One, Ep 8 next year), it's going to be rare for us to get PT-related sets, much less CW-related sets. This would be a great chance for Lego to give us a proper Phase II Cody!
  9. Apparently Star Wars is getting 6 figures in summer; 4 was a wrongly reported number. Wouldn't make sense for Lego to suddenly cut down the number in a wave, anyway. Given that it's Lego and it's Star Wars, my guess is that the SW constraction figures are selling pretty well, given that they're the only non-HF/Bionicle CCBS series to get multiple waves in a row (Chima's were a year apart, and died off after the second). On this year's Bionicle sets, personally, I love them! Some even more so than they're 2015 counterparts. I wouldn't be too quick to dismiss the theme. Why would Lego commit a Netflix series to the theme if it was dying? In fact, the fact that Lego commissioned a Netflix series seems to be a positive indication to me that Bionicle is doing well. I think it's not nice, hurtful even, to claim that the set designers don't bother about the theme anymore. Whether you like them or not is your opinion - and you can have them. I don't like some of the sets released this year and last year, too. But that doesn't mean that the set designers didn't put effort into them! Opinion is subjective. I would like to objectively believe that the set designers worked hard to bring us these sets. That doesn't mean that we have to like them, but it also doesn't mean that we should downplay the set designers' work.
  10. We'll get more detailed descriptions at Nuremberg than London for sure. Pictures at Nuremberg are a maybe. But yeah, just hold out for New York, we'll definitely have pictures by then.
  11. I don't think that's a rumour, it's just someone's wishful thinking. Vader, Ahsoksa, and both Inquisitors in one set?! No way. I think Lego would spread out the Inquisitors in different sets, if the TIE Advanced set gets one at all. The new Vader and Ahsoka are desirable enough.
  12. You're right! Thankfully the mistake is only on his chest, though. You can probably fix it with some brown paint... I guess. At least the molded version on his mask is correct!
  13. Love it, the chest and skirt construction are especially eye-catching!
  14. Rejoice! If it comes with only Vader and Ahsoka, I don't even care if it doesn't come with any other minifigs instabuy for me.
  15. Maybe you're right about the piece being reused in summer. As for Onua's weapon, I really like the way it's built! The lack of a crystal motif doesn't bother me as much. Perhaps the shape of the drill piece is unnaturally crystal-ish enough?
  16. This has the potential to be really amazing. Keeping an eye on this one, all the best with your build!
  17. Well, they're not that tiny. It'll be like ironing handkerchiefs (although who does that anyway)! Yeah, I was thinking of covering it with another cloth while ironing it to prevent burns. Better be safe than sorry. Anyway, Jang mentioned that he irons his CCBS capes (or something along that line) in his Phasma review, so someone's definitely tried it! I'll give it a shot when I can make time.
  18. I can't understand this choice for the life of me. It's not like the piece is only used in one set (in which case it would justify it being trans clear, to give it greater reusability), but Terak uses two of the exact same piece as well! I wish Lewa, Gali or Tahu had their crystals in trans clear instead, while we get trans purple for Onua and Terak.
  19. There's no rumour for the Finalizer. Just a wild guess on our part, since Lego usually follows up their sets with a mini polybag version. Who knows, it could be just the polybag. With the sheer number of large sets J2G has revealed for the summer though, I guess the Finalizer seems less likely. Summer 2017, perhaps?
  20. I've been waiting for a new TIE Advanced since forever (hopefully it comes with Ahsoka and an A-Wing), and I want the CTT and Rex's AT-TE... Whoops. There goes my wallet.
  21. As long as the CTT doesn't have Kashyyyk clones, I'm fine. I love those, but we have so many of them already! It'd be nice to see some variation.
  22. Hawkeye could be in the 4th CW set. I'd say he's the most likely (along with Spidey). Sadly, that means we probably won't see Vision or Zemo. No Zemo I can deal with, but I really want a new updated Vision! The next chance we'll have to get him will be in Infinity War 2 years down the line...
  23. Ooh, civilian Cap would be great! Seeing cowl-less Cap in the Helicarrier and the BP Jet makes me confident that Lego is increasingly willing to give us civilian variations of Superheroes that are not Bruce Wayne or Tony Stark.
  24. Yes! I do hope we get a minifig-scale Finalizer in the summer. It'd be another nice way to include Kylo Ren and General Hux.
  25. I do hope they make a Clone Wars based CTT - for the fact that if it were Ep 3 based, it'll have Kashyyyk clones. We have a plethora of those already! Perhaps Lego might follow what they started with the Azure Angel, and give us Clone Wars sets with "normal" styled faces. I'd love that.
