  1. Articulazed steering means the whole tractor pivots around a single central axle...
  2. Dont forget the frame parts, suspension parts, portal hubs, ball joints, differentials....All in either gray or dkgray.
  3. I think they might use a combination of gears like 12:20:36, or simillar?
  4. Food work again Effe :) Looks really generic!
  5. Something like a mix of the normal and train control? isnt there an option for that in PF protocol?
  6. True but there is still internal XL motor protection :) Without all protections it could deffinatelly go with 12:20 ratio, but the U joints would suffer a lot.
  7. If the model is so bady designed that full power damages gears, than you did something wrong...
  8. LDD? Lego digital designer - a program made by lego to make virtual models.
  9. I would still need that many battery boxes (1 per 2 motors) so there wouldnt be any real advantage.
  10. There were many orange panels in smaller sets...
  11. Awesome! TLG should make it like this...But than we wouldnt get green panels :D
  12. Now if only there was also an offroad tyre for this rim That deep rim with the combination of the portal hub would allow for much better and realistic 4x4's.
  13. So guys, what you think about this? Its 90% same as 8x8, but with added pair of non steerable wheels in the center:
  14. Works for me... Do you have LDD?
  15. There are also technic figs on the desk. And he has 41999 by the doors.
  16. While its a good idea, I would change few things... I would use a small turntable instead of the large ones. That would allow the to raise the low center by about 2-3 studs so you dont get the chassis stuck.
  17. Wow what a big beauty :) One question, wouldnt unimog wheels looks better?
  18. First of all there is no abolutely flat surface anywhere. Second, the truck overcame the friction needed to pull a vehicle no matter if there even would be a slight slope, you have to overcome static friction....
  19. Or just build a 4x4 version..Should be simple, just remove the frontmost and rearmost axle :D
  20. Good work Baz, looks great! Also love the suspension action!
  21. 4 More motors wouldnt be such a problem..The steering mechanism would have to have another odd gear ratio, like 20:28 for front axle... And i would need 2 more receivers and battery boxes....could be possible IMO
