  1. This is like asking if we should go back to vacuum tubes instead of transistors...
  2. Here's the LXF of the chassis: The RC unit and motors are grouped. Download it here: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/zblj/G5004X4SQUARED/xamg_4x4squaredchassis.lxf
  3. A thing I learned in my G500 was that silicone spray makes everything run so much smoother, maybe that would help.
  4. Very unique and artistic. Awesome use of colors and I like the detailed head.
  5. Bump! Same problem...
  6. Nicely done! Where on Earth did you find snow I like how tight the tracks fit and are hidden inside the body.
  7. Yeah thats quite hard, but can be done with some special rims and a brick-buit portal hubs. You can get the steering point all the way to the tyre edge, but steering angle will be rather low.
  8. Venice, anyone?
  9. Thats really simple yet cute.
  10. Wow...Now thats one of the...how should I say....oddest topics I've seen here? Ask her for skype or something
  11. Looks really massive! Is it fast?
  12. Love the pink details. Looks so lovely.
  13. Sorry but that is IMPOSSIBLE to build. Tricky to build Use knob gears, they are stronger.
  14. Can you please also post a picture?
  15. Oh macs...I dont have much experience with those... Try updating drivers, thats all I can say...
  16. Seems like the grid is corrupted... What are your PC specs? Also did you try updating drivers?
  17. But a front differential is much more needed for turning ability than rear.
  18. Do you even need a gearbox for such light model? I think a simple 12:20 on-axle gear ratio would be almost enough.
  19. One flip over was because the car bumped the inner side of the wall while steering, the other was a combination of high speed gained by setting gearbox in neutral and camera weight on the roof.
  20. Well Its very tough for its size, I had like 3 flipovers with minimum damage, only roof came off so yeah I'm proud of that. Real vehicles are also not indestructable.
  21. System runs on 9 volts, no modifications. There were problems with this very problem at the beginning, but chaning the rear U joint to the pulley wheels solved that, Going full throttle on an obstacle that is too large can result in an axle link failure or even whole axle falling off, but thats to be expected when you go over a meter per second with a 3kg heavy vehicle. Yes its actually lifts tyres whena ccelerating from forward to reverse due to the eccentric driveline having a much higher torque twist when reversing. This is also why it popped a tyre when going uphill in reverse in the video. Nothing broke when stallking the motors so far... I did put on PP wheels, but they are too wide. Didnt test driving with them though. I wouldnt recommend any bigger wheels. So far only cosmetics started falling off, the chassis holds...
  22. Nice! LDD and photoshop?
