    I don't know how you guys feel, but I really like watching WIP threads. So I decided to once again start one of them presenting to you my latest idea for yet another Varlyrio moc. In this case a Mitgardian trade mission in the capital losely based on the Fondaco dei Tedeschi in Venice (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fondaco_dei_Tedeschi) Critical feedback of course wanted and appreciated

    The build is overwhelming, such an awesome facade. but the pics are really nasty. Try to take new ones if you can!

    It was about time we finally got a harbor build somewhere in Mitgardia. Nice take, I really like it!!

    It's been great before, but with these pics it's even better. Great work there Eccles, the swamp looks really neat and I also like all the other things found in this moc. It's definetely fun to watch all the details!

    Wow this moc is so creepy! I mean that in a positive way though, in a sense that your photograpyh is so well carried out that your pictures really depict quite an atmosphere!

    this is so true and I have actually thought about this too. However, now that you've tried it out on a larger scale I'll probably not go back to vertical banding. That said, I really love your moc. Everything is just really sweet. But as someone who took Geology classes in college I have to say that your banding is the best!

    well kai, what now? I am so glad that this guild rocks again and that we have so many new talented members. Hope you guys stick around for a while, and it would be really cool if you contributed to our Valholl community build which is currently under revision as we'd like to expand it. But, until then you might as well start working on your wall piece!! I am a conformist

    It's an automatic thing. I just tested it. So whenever you post certain things the system changes it automatically. So in this case b r i c k o n became I'm a conformist, kinda dumb if you ask me. Same with cusswords, everthing becomes megabricks, oh well, gotta live with it ...

    Great stuff Kai, Kalpiphlin certainly is the most diverse guild when it comes to landscapes and people. I like it!

    EG this is just so beautiful and I also love the story. I really think that most women on these here boards are just superb builders. Somehow their mocs always look so much more interesting than mocs done by guys. I don't know why, but you can always tell a woman's moc! So although I don't really like "friends" I sure hope it's getting more girls and women into building mocs!!

    as for the build, I really like it. What I don't like is the guys in shirts and ties, that's just not the clothing of the time frame (ca. 1450) in which our story takes place!

    I just think that your mocs are always great no matter how defensive you get about them. Actually you're building in a completely different league, sorta like the CL of mocing!!

    Well I guess it's simply that most guys don't want to be the bad guys, I certainly wouldn't want to be. As for the fith guild, I'm glad we have it as it gives me the chance to try something that wouldn't work in Mitgardia.
