  1. I really wonder what angered you so much, not getting the moc expert badge, is that it?
  2. character games + mocs should be the way to go!
  3. I guess the drows are missing, ever since Angeli got kicked Nocturnus, and therefore the bad guys, has been falling apart ... Personally I'm working on another wall section and my first varlyrio moc. However, without further instruction as to how to handle the 5th guild it doesn't make sense to post anything yet.
  4. Guys, what's happening? Too few people around these days, hardly any challenge v entries, the board almost sleeping and that close to its first birthday. Where is everybody?
  5. no, I never ment to abandon my first character, just add another one, but alright, I'll have some of my Mitgardians visiting
  6. I wonder what might be better, visiting Varlyrio with a previous character or creating a second new one. What do others thing about this, what was the intention when starting the competition for this new guild? Anyway, I already have some nice ideas growing ...
  7. Aye, looks like we now have to get our act together and fight the foe on two sides!!
  8. Thanks SoT, your praise actually means quite a bit to me! The cool thing is, that already I had pieces of a ruined black castle sitting on my desk for a few weeks with no clear idea of where to go to. So with challenge V being announced things finally came together!!
  9. Well, this looks like a declaration of war to me. I sure hope our troops kicked some serious orc butt!! Should you try to cross ínto Mitgardia again, we'll make sure to get you roasted instead!! (really nice moc, hope it's going to stir up some more action in this sleepy forum)
  10. done!
  11. Eccles, as always I really dig your stuff. I especially like the well. Small, but really great!!
  12. Thanks guys, glad you like it. But as for the voting, I suppose not hoping for a single vote would be more humble and realistic.
  13. I don't know who voted, but it would be nice if you did it again, thanks Alright, as I wasn't a knight when I started, I have to start the poll for the Valholl Wall project in another thread. So with all the building added, who do you thing should be awarded the Master Mason of Valholl title and the Gandalf Returns set. Voters from all guilds are admitted, and voting will run for a week. Tied with 12 votes... Soccerkid and Ecclesiastes.
  14. my entry for challenge V: link to discussion: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=74960
  15. The dumbest thing about the crash is that I went on a trip just an hour after I had posted this, so I wasn't able to read the comments. Bummer, but here we go again: Deep in the boreal forest of Mitgardia the lonesome traveler may find the balckened ruins of a once magnific temple, originally designated to the old gods of the North. As Mitgardian settlers streamed into the North some 200 years ago, they where so afraid of the old cult that they destroyed as many of these temples and their idols as possible. Hardly any remains can still be found today, except for the ruins of this temple, that is so far out in the nowhere, that the Mitgardian troops just had it fall into the state of disrepair after the locals had deserted the forest. However, with the elementals waging havoc across the country, some Mitgardians have discovered, that near the acient sites, elementals do not dare to attac. So a group of Mitgardian fighters and artisians, under the lead of Steen Larsson and Eric Grimmson, are setting up their camp in this particular place, hoping that here they can gain the strength required to fight off the evil. The first structure to be erected was the shop of the smith, as ore can be collected on the meadows nearby and good weapons as well as bolts and screws for siege engines are in want. Others in the camp are occupied with putting up more palisades: starting a rope bridge across the river: or studying maps in the commanders' hut in order to plan the next move: On the other side of the river, inside the ruins, two clerics have cleared up some of the brush thus discovering an old shrine: they are not entirely sure how they can contact the old gods, but they sure are giving it quite some effort ... So far the situation remains calm. But some of the younger ones are very frightened, will they be really save around here? overall shots: So, thanks for all the contstructive feedback I recieved during the WIP phase. I hope you like this one and have fun watching it. More pics to be found on my brickshelf account..
  16. Congrats mikey for winning this, I had really hoped for it!! Plan on me starting a second identity in Valyrio

  18. @eccles: alright, deadline extende until sunday. About opening, I think it should be possible to have others depictind a visit of their characters in valholl, but in the end it's the Jarl who gets to decid, SoT? @Gamardon, thanks dude, any particular spot on the wall you'd prefer?
  19. any Mitgardians still building for the wall contest?
  20. I was wondering wether I can count on more entries for the contest, any Mitgardians still building? If yes, I'd extend the deadline till the 5th, if not I'd call the contest closed by tomorrow and open up the wall project to members of other guilds!

  22. really sad, hope the can all return to their villages at some point ... Nice moc, as alway!!
