Originally this was going to be my first challenge IV entry, but I forgot about the indoor scene. That's why I post it like this now, as a freebuild. BTW, I started building this about a week ago before all the other ambushes here were posted. The build was inspired however, by Z's challenge V entry! Steen Larsson was pissed off. Instead of enjoying the safety and limited comforts of the camp at the black temple, the men of Stoneroda and Helgestorp were ordered to join forces with Elon Chorian in Ondylion. However, since Grimmson had gone to Valholl in order to join the silly race for prime minister, Larsson was left alone with the task to take his men through the mountains. This region, called the valley of skulls - a former stronghold of rebellious orcs, had been pacified decades ago, but he still didn't like it. I was too gloomy a place. But with the elementals waging havoc all over Mitgardia, they had to take this road to get safely to Ondylion. His scouts had declared the pass free, but for no particular reason Steen had decided this morning to put on his helmet ... but what was this, had the forces of the hand of corruption already infiltrated Mitgardia? A fierce fight ensued ...

oh man, I thought it was obvious that my comments were meant rather ironic and self referential. I actually like the whole GOH project!!

yea, Cara won two challenges, Torgar one, can't remember the other winners but that's already 3 out of 5!

Yeah, because being a Bayern fan is totally uncool. And, we don't hate you, we just think that Mitgardia (and to a certain degree Kaliphlin/Nocturnus too) forms stronger personalities!

@Brickington: Well maybe not, but being a Mariners/(Sonics)/Seahawks/FC St. Pauli fan helps forming a strong personality!

it means that so far Mitgardians Individuals have one the most challanges in the overall count (Cara, Torgar etc.!) Glad I'm not a Yankees fan!

The thing is though, despite claiming differently, in secret everybody hates the Yankees, FC Bayern, the Lakers, Ajax Amsterdam, the guys who's always got his homework, the guy who scores all the cheerleaders, Real Madrid, the quaterback, Christiano Ronaldo ... And hanging out with the popular kids simply means that you are too scared to take a crap yourself!!

Poor conformist Avalonians, going for the most popular guild if of course like being a fan of the NY Yankees, FC Bayern, Real Madrid, Ajax Amsterdam, FC Chelsea, LA Lakers ... ... sure they win every now and then, but being a fan of them shows a poorly developed character, a weak personality, it shows that your are always going with the white sheep, swim with the current, are conformist. As a Mitgardian, on the contrary, you have to endure: cold, hairy women, shitty beer, cold, snow, stale bread, ice, cold, losing too many great builders, having your team sold to Oklahoma, cold, being punched by the jogs, snow ... BUT Facing the obstackles makes us all Men! We can take a blow, fight till the end, drink more beer than anyone else, fight with the moose, ... In short: we know how to be ourselves, we have character! And of course the most single challange winners!!

The more noble, but not the most noble guild, wich, as a matter of fact, would of course would have been Mitgardia!!

oh man, this is just too great as I just build myself an ambush as well. Totally like yours though, all the foiliage, the action as well as the story. Good stuff. Btw, is this part of your challenge IV story already?

alright, after a good saturday of procrastinating building I finally finished my first challenge 6 chapter, waiting for the sun to show up, or maybe I'll just go ahead and finally get me a few lamps

Well, actually neither of us really claimed land. We said that we had a settlement and where we wanted it to be located. Which city is where can be found in the traveller's guide to Mitgardia, the link is also found on the first page of this topic. Unfortunately our official mapmaker has left the guild long ago, like so many others ...

first thing you do is create a chracter, build the sigfig and a few followers and then post the whole thing in here. With this procedure you may also claim a piece of land!

As much as I like trash talking myself, so far trash talking in GOH was based on good mocing! I'm not sure I really like the current trend of trash talking for the sake of trash talk, whereas the number of new mocs is declining constantly. Somehow I think we need to find this balance again!

That is because we are too sedate to hector other guilds! We preserve our strenght for the real fight!!

Well, this moc and the whole goh action actually took me away from pirates. Before this moc I didn't own a single castle minifig. Now my shelfs are flooded with them and I don't have much time for anything else beside goh anymore!

nice castle sk, you have definetely developed you own style as it is instantly reconiseable as an sk build. Can't wait for the next builds to come. Btw, I have also started my first challenge six entry. Mitgardia is rolling again!!
