  1. Yes. It is always better to have the same (and updated) topics in one thread. No worries, I will merge it. When you have another update, just post it in the original topic. Have fun.
  2. Thanks for posting the free instructions, and to the effort of making them.
  3. Is this gearing ratio tool the same as the one you have already posted, but updated?
  4. Take a look at the guidelines about the picture posting procedure, and about the allowed image size. Use an external hosting site, do not upload pictures to Eurobricks.
  5. I have reuploaded one of your images, so the frontpage post can show something
  6. Wow. Just wow. Your every creation is stunning, but this is indeed next level. Make sure to resize your images (they are 4 times the allowed size), so we can do some frontpaging!
  7. It seems you have managed to post the pictures. At least I see them. So, all you need to do is to paste the link which you have taken by right clicking on the image and "copy image link" directly in the reply box.
  8. I have just clicked on your first image, when it opened, right clicked on it, copy image link, and pasted that link into your first post, and it shows. Try to edit your post and do it again.
  9. Beautiful truck. I especially like the mudguard/fender region, we all know how hard it is make a nice round shape around the wheel, especially in two levels that fit together I like your 8x4 dump truck model a bit better, just because it resembles the real P series Scania a tiny bit more (which is nitpicking, since you didn't chase the exact carbon copy), but this tractor unit is more slick and elegant! Your TGS 6x4 is still my favorite. Also, always nice to see the designer of a model is here to discuss and to help answer the questions of the viewers Frontpaged
  10. We can see how it will go. Just make sure not to have two topics for the same MOC. Take care of the pictures size. They are 4 times the allowed size.
  11. If you edit it, it will stay where it is, it wont be bumped. So, this will be the only place where you will be posting new MOCs? You will not create new topics for new MOCs?
  12. Sections are separated, yes. Usually these types of trailers have 3 or more separated compartments. Your idea of protecting the hatches in a case of roll sounds right.
  13. You can read all the info regarding Scale Models, requirements and such in the newly pinned topic: As Jim said, they (Technic and Scale models) are all in the same forum, so you don't have to chase tags. Btw, I really like the forklift, looking forward to proper presentation. Love the tank!
  14. That is because they had very few views and replies, and the date of their last activity (last reply) was a day or so ago, enough to put it on page two in the Technic forum. It will be different once people post a Scale Model in this merged forum. It will have better visibility and more attention and replies.
  15. Topic is unlocked. Don't ruin it for those who want to discuss the CAT. For the member's behavior, arrogance, and their posting styles, use the proper topic, I have merged two of the same topics: I don't mind everyone expressing themselves over there, but keep it civil.
  16. Probably a single unit, like a complete axle unit. Thanks for that. So, you can also use the search function, and see if there is something similar to what you are looking for. I suggest you start from this topic: If this is what you were after, I will merge your topic with the axle topic.
  17. As the Technic forum wasn't a place for melodramatic farewells, it also certainly isn't a place to discuss anyone's behavior. This topic will be left to cool down a bit.
  18. - Impacts on the lower undercarriage are not transmitted to the powertrain located above - drivetrain is well above all the dirt, dust, rocks, gravel etc... - drivetrain does not have to hold the weght of the machine - easier and more accessible maintenance - more track can be on the surface, without having to extend the chassis to fit the motors in the back
  19. @TechnicStudy Welcome to EB. A good practice on every forum is to familiarize with the forum's themes and categories and most importantly, the rules. Otherwise, a post like yours may sound a bit lazy So, start by reading the rules in my signature, then you may want to introduce yourself in the community section. After that, you will be much more confident in finding all the things you like. Have fun exploring and engaging in discussions. @Bartybum, we have the main topic for introduction, and we have the Technic ask for help topic, and we have Technic Pub for all the lazy non-technic talks
  20. This is a thread for the CAT bulldozer. Back on topic, please.
  21. What they said Scheduled for frontpaging
  22. No worries! Once again, from a fellow truck builder, beautiful model!
  23. @Duq Awesome Volvo! Great details and SNOT! However, as per guidelines, the Scale Modeling forum requires for a model to be built at least in 1:20 scale. Will move this to special themes.
  24. IIRC, Acco had suspension in a way that each track was attached to the main frame, via turntable like hub, while at the front, they were attached together, and to the frame at the same time, via oscillating arm, thus allowing suspension, but only at the front section of the tracks.
  25. Even if we leave this idea for (very) later time due to just having the very same concept in this contest, I reckon there are more people who have a bigger stock of studless then studful parts. Thus, probably not many people would enter the contest.
