Great mini MOC! I have not looked closely at the Horizon Express yet but it seems you have really captured it in microscale! The surroundings look great too! Especially the tunnel in the hill!

I love that camper van in those hippie colours! You can throw in some pink and lime green parts too. Add in the hippie from the CMF series! Great moc!

Congrats to the winners! Great fun for all participants too! Special thanks to LegoCityMann for this contest!

Your hull-building technique is really interesting! Judging by the size of your hull, I can imagine the size of that ship! (Read: BIG!)

That roof is very interesting and well done! Looks ready to cater to the many cars coming! All the best!!

Thanks for all the great comments! LT, yeah, fellow combatant! Hahaha! All the best to all entries!

I have just bricklinked an Eiffel Tower. For the instructions, at S$179, that was too much for my fast depleting finance, so I viewed the instructions from a laptop. Printing in colour would have been quite costly too.

Hi all, Finally after some intense waiting time for my parts to arrive, here I present: Brand(?) Service Station for the Servo Showdown Contest! The front: The back with the mechanic and tyre service: The inside. No service station is complete without your minimart! The cashpoint with tyres and bric-a-brac for sale: Lastly the overall: That's all folks! Wish me luck!

Nice colour combination! The terrace in front with the steps to the entrance is great too! That is 1 huge water-tank on the roof! Errr...do you walk through the toilet to go to the bedroom?

Great replica of that famous scene! The cars and the guardposts are nice! Maybe you want to use a red plume to depict blood from wounds. Edit: Just noticed that you have used the big (8 x 16) tiles for the rooad surface! Great one there! but an expensive one. No?

It is indeed a great moc! I like how the circular tower merges with the square (rectangular?) building! Can't wait to see the finished product!
-
Great station, Tarpal! I like the completeness of your station with the many services provided. A corner station is unique and allows one to skip the traffic lights at the junction!

The scale of your MOC is just breath-taking! I like the 'life' you and your mum have put into this with all the minifigs busy with one thing or another. The building behind the stage with the 2 men on the 2nd floor is nice. As is the amphitheatre!

What to buy at a Lego store?
streifen replied to slopemodified's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
If you want your friend to get something small (to save luggage space), he can do the build-a-minifig for you. It should come in a plastic blister-pack that holds 3 minifigs. Alternatively, get him to fill a small PAB cup for you. The large cup will take up quite some space and not exactly lightweight.- 10 replies

Yes. I went to the ones in Westfield and Manchester.

I am in London now. However I have only seen Lego in the WH Smith at Westfield. None sighted in the few Tesco I've been to so far. Am I going to the right ones?

I love that spiral staircase! Awesome!

Great moc! That canopy at the entrance is rather special!

That's it! My dinner is settled! Great (physically and artistically) moc! The bamboo mat is well done! Lastly you must have a lot of loose bricks to fill that sushi!
-
the chimney and colours of the building are really good! Now you will need to realise your design in bricks for best effect!

That is a nice conversion! I like it! You may want to find a way/place to fix a firemen's pole for fast activation. Looking at the big picture (read 1st and 2nd photos), your firemen may be called into action soon with the 2 giant minifigs looming over the horizon!
