  1. Nice and compact! Looks like you need to build an army of this patrol craft!
  2. One of the key things is to buy more than what you assume you need. This is especially true for the basic parts e.g. bricks, plates, tiles. The shortage/lack of these parts can "paralyse" your build for a while (until new order arrives). Any extras can always be used in future MOCs.
  3. The reply from "alois" could not have been more apt with the photos in his signature!
  4. The "texture" of the MOC is superb! Just asking, are the doors openable? Or are they fixed?
  5. My biggest regret has to be holding the UCS Millenium Falcon 10179 in my hands and putting it back on the shelf, and not getting it in the end! Aaaarrrrrgggghhhhh!!!
  6. Wow! This is really nice! The roof is pretty special! The interior is really nice and Japanese-like! Especially the teppanyaki counter.
  7. Nice MOCs! Are you doing a team or teams? or just individual players? Hip Hip Deutschland! Hip Hip!

    Mountain

I am dumbfounded! Your mountain is really impressive with the trains, cable cars and climbers! And it looks great as a backdrop to your city!
  9. Nice stairs you have there! By the way, the stairs is leading up to some housing on baseplates? How are these secured to the rest of your build?
  10. Are you able to explain to the buyer about the increase in postage and getting him/them to top up? If not, I would suggest you post in a bubble envelope. It protects the minifig much more than a normal envelope. For a normal envelope, even with a bubble-wrapped minifig inside, may tear and you will lose the miniifig. In the event, you have to bear the postage on your own no choice but got to do it. Just remember to adjust your postage for future sales.
  11. I was lucky I came out (completely) from the dark age at the time of release of the start of the modulars. So I have the 1st three as well and very glad that I bought them at the retail price!
  12. I can definitely recognise this bust! So life-like from a distance! Great bust!
  13. Thanks for the review, Whitefang! Can't wait to get a box of these!
  14. I have dropped a few pieces. But no major spillage. mostly due to butter fingers. haha!!
  15. Entry 7 - 3pts Entry 9 - 2pts Entry 6 - 1pt Great work from all contestants! Good Luck!
  16. Getting creator houses (the bigger ones) in quantities will yield you plenty of bricks, windows, doors for your city. If you are tight on budget forego the modular houses first, unless you want to part them out for more bricks. The bulk brick bins/sets should also be avoided as usually the colours available, though plentiful, are in small quantities and not able to help much in your houses unless you want a multi-coloured one. Agreeing with 3BrickFriends, Police stations are great sources of white bricks and parts.
  17. If the t-shirts are to be realised, will it be available to the other EB'ers who cannot make it to this event? Definitely hope so! Thanks!
  18. Great coffee truck there! I can imagine you having a nachos/tacos food truck in the pipeline! The baristress(?) looks a tad stern though...haha!!
  19. From what I have read, you want the ground floors of each of your modulars to be easily detached just like the upper floors. In that case, the plates for the flooring of the ground floors will have to be built similar to upper floors with tiles as the 'cushion' to the buildings. This should then make it easy for your ground floors to be easily removed and modified.
  20. The mini-builds look great! However the legs of AT-AT is like a human's legs. They don't bend forward at the knees. You can readjust the AT-AT's pose. By the way, your Falcon looks best of the lot!
  21. Moderators, please help to lock/close/delete thread. I have found this set. Thank you!
  22. My favourite is Jawa! The fact that it only comes in 1 set is a (financial) headache for me!! Arrrrggghhh!!!
  23. Great review again, Whitefang! Informative and helpful in my anticipation of this series!
  24. I thought the idea of this build was good! As for fitting in with the Market/village scene, surely the land over which the market is set is not flat (ie it has its upper and lower portions). So this bakery just happened to be situated on the lower side thus the snow volume. (oh my...I am so longwinded! Haha!!)
