Eurobricks Event 2013 - Information Topic
streifen replied to Bonaparte's topic in LEGO Events and User Groups
Although I am not going, just being a busybody here. . I remembered reading about driving in Munich before my trip there 2 years ago. It is further reinforced by: http://wikitravel.org/en/Munich Quoted in the URL above: By car It is generally a bad idea to explore Munich by car. Traffic is heavy especially during rush hour, and parking tends to be close to impossible. Moreover, many landmarks and areas of touristic interest are located in the inner city which is partially closed for car traffic. Here parking space is particularly scarce and expensive. Driving may be an option for visiting some of the attractions in suburban Munich like the Bavaria Film Studios or for making day trips to cities and lakes outside of Munich. Don't forget to fit your car with green coloured Umweltplakette (ECO Vignette). You will need it to drive in some areas of town. Munich has four ring roads, the A99, the Frankfurter Ring, the Mittlerer Ring and the Altstadtring, which can be used in order to avoid getting stuck in inner city traffic. During rush hours these rings are, however, often congested too. The nearest U-Bahn for Hofbrauhaus is the one at Marienplatz -

Ya, the Hofbrauhaus is a great place to go too. Just that it can be noisy so Lego-talk has to be conducted at high volume! The Alte Rathaus and, for football fans, Allianz Arena are must-goes! Sadly I cannot go for this event as I have penned in a UK/France trip in February. Hope you guys have fun! -
The soffit of the staircase is an interesting feature! Somehow I feel that the color of the building suits a psychiatrist!

Not really into DC and the lot but your artwork is really great!

Is a separate thread. There is the word "VOTING" at the end of the title of the thread. -
Wow! That building is really uber-grand! I like the mix of colours used! With your permission, I am going to copy your fountain design. That town layout with all the buildings is really nice too!

Where did you get the news from? Haven't seen/read any as yet. By the way, I am in Singapore (South-East Asia).

I like the colour of the facade! Just as great is the 3rd storey! Besides the steps at the back, how does the fisherman go upstairs?

[MOC] Bonsai Bust Up: Ultimate Battle
streifen replied to Praiter Yed's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Ouch! That blood spurting out effect is really good! I like the eye-patched kimono girl! Sinister yet demure (?) -
That gate is really spooky! I can picture you, in your spare time, expanding the bricked-up area to include a cemetery with a bare lightning-struck tree and tombstones.

Here I present my Ultimate Battle in a different form: Mind Games! The sparring parties have been aside their weapons (as seen on the black cabinets) and have a duel in CHESS! As usual, comments are always welcome! Thank you!
