  1. He does a lot of great replicas. With his building past for new models, I am sure this is exact, except for the other new pieces that no one has.
  2. Look on BRICKSHELF!!! dokludi made a replica of the acros!!! Hope it is accurate!!
  3. can you post them onto the thread?
  4. I never thought of that their are a lot of racing trucks!!
  5. ok lets change it over, what about those sets like the 42037. Is their any others that were not worth making a B-model?
  6. Ok, thanks anyway. I was hoping I could run LEGO trains on my model train track. How cool would that be!! Ya well
  7. Do you know the specific scale of LEGO trains?
  8. Here is a question to get your minds off of the picture release.... What is the B-model going to be!?!?!
  9. Hey guys, I wanted to get your thought on the weirdest combination of A model to B model. What i mean is like the A model is a construction truck, but the B model is a something else (not construction) So like a bad example would be the Volvo, because the B model was so closely related. My thoughts are the 8274 combine. The A model was a combine, while the B model was a drag racing car. Did not match at all!! Just wanna hear your opinions
  10. But are they somewhere, mwhere someone might stubble apon them?
  11. Looks like a good start sorry to be off topic, but wow we have seen a lot of different mocs from you in a short amount of time. Nicely done
  12. Thanks for the information, did not know all of that, Thanks. I am from the east coast, so I wanted to build a peterbilt daycab truck. Currently the trailer I made is not accurate for the L350F Loader. So im probably going to make some kinda of lowboy. I have tried making a lowboy in the past (infact i just took it apart), but I could not figure out the detachable gooseneck for the life of me. So hopefully by the time my truck gets done, i will have a better understanding of the gooseneck.
  13. ok that is what I thought, thanks for clarifying
  14. Just checking, but are conversations allowed in the entry topic??
  15. ok, sorry I thought I wanted as simple as possible. guess not. my other suggestion would be to do try and build off of the pick up truck or hot rod chassis
  16. WOW, looks great!! I love the stabilizers, great idea, did not even know they were there until i saw the picture!! The truck itself looks great, but than anything i have ever done. The only thing i'd add to the crane is a hook of some kind, but other than that, WOW
  17. Here are my suggestions: This one is basically bare bones, but i think it has everything you want. There should be enough pictures so that you can build the car. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=472885 This one is a little different. It does not have suspension, but it is more like an on-road car. This one does have instructions. The only thing you will most likely have to replace is the return to center steering (yellow piece in the front). I'd replace the m motor for steering with a servo motor and just make some kinda brace to hold in there. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=545946 With both, you should be able to use your wheels, if not modify the car. If you need help, i will help ya out.
  18. Not really a question about the loom, but how did you come up with the idea of building a loom?? Like I know I don't wake up saying, "lets build a loom today" I love the functionality of the model, amazing!!
  19. The contest could just be to make the battle bot. But it would be really cool to actually battle each other!!!
  20. I vote we make a battle bot contest!!! How cool would that be!!!
  21. I decided just to go with the rear 3 axles all powered. Lots of battery drain though.
  22. The trailer is just bare bone right now, still have to add some pf to it, but I will weigh it out once it is done. I did run the chassis on carpet while pulling the heavy load. will hard wood be that much better?? If it gets down to having to use some kinda of lubricate, i will. but id rather not.
  23. Both suggestions sound good. The truck is a semi truck. I was planning on the truck to move around fairly quick. Have the L motors geared down 1:3. each independently powering a wheel. Just to give you an idea of what it will be pulling. I built a trailer for the 42030 loader. As of right now just with the chassis with the 6 L motors, it pulls it, but looses a lot of the power it had.
