  1. This should be an interesting contest.....
  2. When and what is the next contest?
  3. Thanks for those nice words, I don't usually post my creations, but hopefully this one will turn out better and then I will post it!! So hopefully I don't mess it up :)
  4. Hey guys it has been a while since I have built something, so I thought why not. I want to build a completely rc mini dumper. Using pf and linear actuators. I hope it will be articulated. But first I want to know if anyone else has done this, I haven't seen anything but I wanted to ask.
  5. Has anyone used a clutch in their model before?? I feel like the idea of a gearbox is almost pointless without a clutch.. This is totally different for functional gearboxes, I am only talking about speed gearboxes.
  6. Hey guys, I notice that gearboxes are being built all the time. My question is, Are these gearboxes made to shift while moving? so that the momentum of the vehicle keep going. Im not really sure how to word this, but I hope it can be answered.
  7. It looks like Patrickig has one half of the truck and Kiwi has the other half haha. Anyway I love these kinds of trucks, they are complex, but fun to build. I am looking forward to seeing this MOC grow.
  8. I wish my built from scratch MOCs looked like that. Seriously, I like it. You should continue building it and change it once it is built, that is if you don't like the way it looks
  9. We should have a battle bot contest!!!
  10. Not to get off topic, but have you thought of making a truck with some kind of function on the truck itself, not just to pull a trailer...like a dump truck or crane truck??
  11. I told you, You did it again! Sure it is the same truck, but It still looks great, haha. I do have a question. The truck before I didn't really look, but I noticed it has L motor for drive. Does this new truck go faster than the older version of the Granite truck? Or is it geared down to the same as the L motors?? Again, great job and hopefully i can be s god as you on day, I my dreams haha
  12. Just WOW, how do you do it!!! This truck is awesome, great detail and I love the look. All those small parts really make a difference! You always out-do yourself on your models. I am not sure that your models can get much better, but then again, your next one will probably be better haha. anyway, great job and keep up the GREAT work!
  13. Wow, that is impressive!!!! Are you going to add a tower or just leave it as a platform?
  14. I like it, keep up the good work!
  15. I saw this article and had to post it, Enjoy! https://www.yahoo.com/parenting/why-is-stepping-on-a-lego-so-painful-science-has-113434772052.html
  16. are the long cylinders actuators, or just supports? I have an idea for both, I just want to know which one it is before I describe both ideas.
  17. which one are you thinking your going to do? For mine, im doing a long reach, three part boom
  18. ok, I could not think of anything else it could have been, anyway, looks GREAT
  19. 1 XL to a channel, 1 XL to a channel, 2 M to a channel, 1 M to a channel. this will allow you to control the track separately and lift/lower and dump the bucket seperately
  20. I really like this c-model. I looks great and is "clean". I like the amount of detail for a smaller model. Great Job BusterHaus
  21. but do you want the handles to control your LEGO model?
  22. You will need at least 2 ir controllers, if u have a function like a spinning drill, you would need another one, but if u stick to movement, bucket up/down, and dumping you will only need two. Do u have your skid steer on Brickshlef or something that I can look at? This will give me an idea of what your thinking
  23. Couple of questions for you first, are you using tracks or wheels. If wheels, what size (this will give an idea of scale) also, do u want the LEGO skid steer to just have the same functions as the real machine (move, lift bucket, and dump bucket), or do you want it to act the same way as the real machine. Sorry if that sounds confusing
