Linear actuator question
aminnich replied to aminnich's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Thanks guys, bigger actuator it is. -
Hey guys, I have a quick question related to the different size actuators. I'm not quite sure, but does the bigger actuator have more pewer than the smaller ones. Ik it sounds like a dumb question, but they both do the same thing, the one just has a longer actuator. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks

If you have not noticed my looking forward to a lot of different mods for this set. I love the idea of an easy coupling system for all of the different attachments I have in mind. Personally I have never seen the crane boom ona front end loader before, but I like it. Once I gets one time, I'm hoping to make a side dump attachment. We will c how that works out.

Hey guys, I got this set a couple days ago and built it in 4.5 hours. The build itself had its challenges and different building concepts (for me) and pretty many different pieces. I like those things but before I bought it a loved the size, what was included, and that it would be my first front end loader. But while I was building it therear part of the loader was very detailed and very well put together. But when u started building the front, it was like the designer kinda gave up. Not saying he did a bad job, I just think it could have been done better. I wish the front was as good looking as the rear, just saying. The functionality of the set is great. I'm looking forward to a mod for this, thanks

Rc cars. They go well with Lego technic power functions. It is like the same, but different.

Hey guys, I was looking on the Volvo construction equipment web site looking for mod ideas. I found a side dump attachment, where the bucket basically spins, do you think it would be a possibility to incorporate this into the loader? Just saw another loader using this, it looks like an actuator lifts the bucket, it doesn't spin.

Ik it works, you could still try it

I know that hot glue comes off if you freeze it. I'd try it

Dump Truck question
aminnich replied to Rishab N's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
This would be the first thing I would try. The actuator won't do it's job if it is under a lot of force. -
Hi guys, I building a landscaping "scene" and need some help with the truck. I'm a little rusty on my Lego brick building, lately I've been working with a lot of technics. So I basically need a pickup truck that has a hitch and if possible, four doors and a longer bed. I have already made a utitly trailer. So all I need is the truck. Thanks

Semi truck question

Man your the best, thanks. I really think this is going to work for me. I'll even be able to make the motors look like gas tanks with set up, which was an original want. Thanks a lot
