  1. Amazing, I love the Smaug and all the details everywhere!!
  2. Fantastic set, one of the best in the line! I can't wait to get it! Thanks for the review(s)!
  3. I hope they'll be another wave. My wallet doesn't . I'm okay with that Minas Tirith but it is a little plain in areas. I would never buy anything hugly priced because I'd never be able to afford it. To be completely honest a large-ish Osgiliath the ruined main city of Gondor with some rangers, Faramir, armoured Boromir and Denethor (out of place I know) a small boat, a horse and some orcs + Gothmog would please me. (so around nine figs, so the 80-100 price point) Anyone wanting the MT could but this thousands of time and use the pieces. It fits for the attack on Osgiliath, Faramir's suicide horse riding mission and Faramir's flashback to when Boromir left to join the fellowship. We get key figures for Gondor and I'd be great. To complement it we'd get a battlepack to add on, similar to helms deep's one but the wall is ruined (I have no idea who'd be the main character) and another set with the Witch King, Snowmane+ Theoden and Eowyn etc. This would complete it for me and I'd be happy. What do you think?
  4. Damn I want this set now to MOD!!!!
  5. Hmmm can't I vote for both??!! I'd probably have more fun with the Rohan but The Green Dragon s tempting... I can't decide!
  6. I would buy that suggested set with Smaug in it!
  7. Brilliant! Makes me think of Frank from Men in Black..!
  8. I want this!!
  9. I couldn't agree more! It would be shame not to have more variation in orcs. I love the orc gear in the LOTR videogame and more armour, weapon and colour variation is needed with the orcs. I'd love a sand blue one..!
  10. Shame, I loved the design for Bolg, it was a breath of fresh air in the orc design world. Having an Azog looking twin will be a shame....
  11. I live in Wales, it's nice to see a MOC of it. I'm one of the less Welsh people as I call myself British most of the time, whereas most don't! I appreciate this model though! Diolch yn fawr!
  12. Ha-ha! Grinning knight was hopeless! I like this but I find that the handles for the cart are out of proportion to the size of the cart itself.
  13. I thought Qui-gon hair did fit a normal quiver with the head turned at a slight angle...
  14. I bought MEA a couple of days ago (a whole day earlier than I was meant to! ) and I loved the printing on the elves, my only problem is that Tauriel's printing has a lack of the silver decoration. It makes her seem more apart and less important than the others. I disagree with whoever mentioned the "Tauriel being a better polybag than Legolas". I think they are both equally useless. Orcs are much better. Overall though it doesn't matter what they are if I can't FIND THEM!!! Raaagh!
  15. I like this set but as with all the other LOTR and Hobbit sets I'd rather pay the equivalent closer to the American worth of £15.00. Beorn isn't all that bad but a slightly more "meh" face on the serious side, rather than a full blown temper tantrum expression, would improve the use of his face.
  16. Thanks for the review but this just guaranteed my refusal to buy it. I really don't like the huge gap above the wheels and the other faults don't help this set's cause. I pronounce it GUILTY of being a BAD PURCHASE
  17. Thank you for the review. The plane isn't bad but I think I liked the sleeker design without the pontoon; still it wouldn't fit the purpose without them ! Thanks again!
  18. Yes the stud holder goes up. Turning it the other way though is useful for gripping things like spears or positioning a gun in a better position etc.
  19. As already mentioned, the bricks-who-shall-not-be-named, have appalling quality, and the design, parts usage, stickers, figure designs and the connections are rubbish. Price is a difference too, Lego being more expensive. Lego though exceeds the bricks-who-shall-not-be-named's value and fun. The ideas are better in Lego themes. I could probably go on for ever but to keep it concise- the bricks-who-shall-not-be-named are RUBBISH! Too true, too true!
  20. I need that polybag! I was at a TRU yesterday and didn't see one!!! Why-y???!!!!
  21. Wow I love that chair!! I have saved this link into my favorites so as I can come back for inspiration later- Thanks!!
  22. Wow really clever! It's a nice size too. Well done!
  23. Thanks for finding the review. Does anyone know whether we'll get these polybags in the UK??
  24. I take it then that the license for the video game was different then as Tom Bombadil featured as a character- a named character. If they were allowed to give him a set it wouldn't be that interesting. It would be like Rhosgobel but with less wonkiness and Spiders. It would be rather bland.
  25. MY sister is really liking the Ice Cream truck now. I'm fond of the truck and the castle parts pack (as that is why I'll buy it)
