  1. Not what I was asking, but my question's been answered in one of your other responses.
  2. Yes, but did he have that in mind when designing this?
  3. How exactly is the RC driving supposed to work with a C+ hub? Are you using a pre-existing C+ profile?
  4. Details are top-notch. Excellent job!
  5. Think the real reason it was cancelled was the fact that the model could easily chew up its gears.
  6. Heck of a rig! I like the use of the slanted panels for the sleeper.
  7. Hi Simon! If you want to embed images directly, publish them on Flickr and copy + paste the URL into your post.
  8. I would never paint parts. My view is if it doesn't exist in a certain colour, deal with it.
  9. No we don't. We're too hyped for Sariel's review!
  10. I wasn't questioning what you said, I was questioning what he said...
  11. Why are you now speaking Chinese? BTW, for those curious, he said: "Where are you talking". Don't see what that has to do with Mercedes-Benz or the Zetros...
  12. No, he just knows what he's talking about. I agree with you on 2020. Last year was a bust. But we've had some pretty cool stuff this year - the skid steer, excavator and the Monster Jam trucks are all excellent, and the Jeep is alright. The 2H wave has mostly been a disappointment though.
  13. I think my favourite alternate wheels for this thing just have to be the dirt bike wheels that Sariel tried.
  14. Laughs even harder in 42004
  15. "Michael, you're slicing to the left." "Shut up, KITT!" -Dialogue from that Knight Rider episode that was set on a golf course
  16. It would have been great to see black and yellow cone gears in this set. Given that they have appeared in previous sets, this wouldn't have been impossible to accomplish. Some D11s do have a black ladder, though, so at least that's accurate enough.
  17. It's forum policy to not quote images. It keeps the thread nice and tidy. One instance where knob wheels really grate on me is when they're used in steering. 42035 is one particular example - they jam and grind on each other.
  18. Knob wheels only really work with pivoting mechanisms like the harvesting head in 42080. They have too much friction for continuous mechanisms and gear trains, on the other hand. Oh, and don't quote images. The variety of tyres has never been better, I'll say that much for Technic. Yeah, maybe the truck wheel hubs could do with a chevron tread option, but there is still a good variety going.
