  1. Can I borrow your time machine? You seem to be transmitting from the past.
  2. You have to admit that it can kick the shit out of a flat carpet.
  3. I really think 42070 gets beat up way more than it deserves. Yeah, that irritates me as well. I think TLG were a bit too concerned about infringing certain design copyrights and made a set that couldn't possibly do that; however, the end result just looks wrong.
  4. WTF? They told me 42114 was Big Yellow! I'm pissed now.
  5. Don't forget that it has a B-model as well! (actually, I'm not gonna trumpet too loudly about that)
  6. All the best stuff is from the 90's!
  7. Sure thing, Milan. The CAT D11T (D11, sorry)! Ridiculously big. Ridiculously yellow. RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE. Discuss.
  8. If you want to embed pictures in your post, publish them on Flickr and paste the URL here.
  9. Can you blame him? He gave even the slightest bit of criticism and got shelled into the ground, with people calling him toxic. He pointed out the Zetros' fatal flaw and people accused him of bashing TLG. And, to top it off, a good number of his amazing MOCs got shafted to a forum barely anybody frequents.
  10. The closest thing would be the XL motor. Adding some kind of superstructure with beams or the like to match the form factor would probably be your best shot.
  11. That's because it's little more than a hastily-conceived techno-gimmick designed by TLG to horn in on screen time. And surprise surprise, it's... well, Erik, you've described it brilliantly. Look at VIDIYO, TLG's biggest flop in recent memory. That theme already has an entry on TvTropes' "We're Still Relevant, Dammit!" page.
  12. Now this should've been the time machine in Back to the Future.
  13. An unprotected sticker sheet in a premium 18+ model? That is utterly outrageous. Bad enough that this thing has stickers in the first place, but not even securely packaged with the manual? NO. Just NO.
  14. Search for the parts and get them from sellers that offer them. Sadly I don't think there's a way around it.
  15. While I don't appreciate your response, I do apologise if I came across a bit too strong. It's just that this question is asked a lot and I was a little frustrated at seeing it for the umpteenth time.
  16. I cannot believe this needs to be explained yet again. It merely means that there is an alternate control interface in the app.
  17. It's "whether", actually. I was under the impression that all Technic sets take about twelve months to design.
  18. I mentioned knob wheels earlier, so I'll clarify the set that has the worst use of them - 9395. They should be the last choice of part for an input shaft, and they make 9395's whopping two functions (bear in mind this thing was 2012's 1H flagship) unpleasant to operate. And then there's the setup in the B-model... shudder.
  19. One could say the same about your posts.
  20. Nope, knob wheels are usually the most aggravating detail on any Technic set, period.
