  1. Superb work! Looks just like a Raba-Steiger and the suspension is masterful.
  2. Well done to @Thirdwigg for getting first place! Great to see @Brickend's excellent loader coming in fourth, and @Wiseman_2's crane truck - my personal favourite! - coming in just outside the top ten.
  3. Quite the project, Jeroen! I await the results with patience.
  4. No Technic version of a real vehicle is ever going to match it exactly. That would require too many new parts, most of which would probably be limited in use.
  5. Which has been borne out by the fact that Volvo sets have been extremely reasonably priced (one possible exception being 42114). I don't get the 18+ thing. These sets are no more complex than the usual, and TLG risks cutting out a fair chunk of its customer base by restricting said sets to an older demographic. Let's face it - all the 18+ rating means is higher prices. Oh look, I do get it!
  6. If the steering on 42114 is anything to go by, then those are gonna be some slooooooooooow tracks...
  7. Doesn't look like anything else, so I'd agree with that.
  8. I'd imagine it was fairly difficult to squeeze the D11T onto the box, being as utterly immense as it is.
  9. You're gonna need an entire coffee table to display this puppy...
  10. Think this is the best 42117 alternate yet! Reminds me of the Fusa from the Bionicle Master Builder set.
  11. Really? They're available on Bricks and Pieces.
  12. Nope. It uses an M-motor for steering when it's in drive mode.
  13. Just found out that the servo motor from 42114 isn't sold as an individual unit, and it hasn't been available on TLG's parts service for quite a while. Given that the dumb hub from 42113 can be purchased on its own, I don't know why TLG hasn't done the same with the servo.
  14. We're coming up to a month before this thing is released, so I'd sit tight.
  15. I did "Yes/No/Maybe/I Don't Know, Could You Repeat The Question?". Yeah, every entry is cool in its own way.
  16. The four opening doors are pretty neat. Otherwise, it's a HARD pass.
  17. Gotta be the best Eurobricks contest ever! Well done to everybody who entered. 19: 10 5: 6 36: 4 37: 3 47: 2 11: 1
  18. Very cool! Also, I see you're a fellow reader of Tractor And Machinery magazine.
