  1. The last air dampers were actually in 8297.
  2. Good to see more news. Hopefully 42112 is up next!
  3. Try Bricklink for a replacement.
  4. Funnily enough, it was first used as an eye.
  5. 42108 is a road truck itself, so I'd pick 42097 since that needs a carrier to get about . A medium telehandler would look cool too - you should be able to pick up 8283 or 42061 for a good price. Oh, and post better photos.
  6. Closing the app should deactivate the hub. That's how it works on 42099 at least. I'm with you on the touch screen controls as well: I don't have arthritis, though I think there's a bit of gamer's grip/carpal tunnel in there somewhere. I prefer joysticks and I still think PF is more tactile and fun to control.
  7. No, you wouldn't. You just think you would.
  8. Looks really cool. The XL LAs should give the boom extra reinforcement as well.
  9. Yeah. It's the Mack all over again. The thing about Technic is that a model is probably not gonna look exactly like the real thing. To me, even though I'm not a car person, this set is perfectly recognizable as a Dodge Charger. I do like Sam Tacchi's build style too. If you want a model that has been kludged, though, see 42114.
  10. No, Universal do. Though Disney does own this comment.
  11. According to Brickset, Sam Tacchi is the designer.
  12. Steering is controlled from a gear on the back. At least that's easy to access, rather than having to reach in and use the steering wheel. Does beg the question, though - is the steering column attached to the wheels?
  13. When we see pictures of Dominic Toretto's cement mixer, then I'll be interested.
  14. No worries, the title did give it away anyway. Though this set also uses the same setup, so a little more information would have been good for the sake of specifics.
  15. It's not a question of whether or not I like it. It's just that it's a feature on real cranes. The moored hook would do that anyway.
  16. These look awesome! Definitely giving them a go.
