Some whois info about who is behind this site: Domain Name: REBBSTORE.XYZ Registry Domain ID: D77357129-CNIC Registrar WHOIS Server: whois.west.cn Registrar URL: http://www.west.cn Updated Date: 2018-10-18T11:54:32.0Z Creation Date: 2018-09-25T09:16:15.0Z Registry Expiry Date: 2019-09-25T23:59:59.0Z Registrar: CHENGDU WEST DIMENSION DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD. Registrar IANA ID: 1556 Domain Status: ok https://icann.org/epp#ok Registrant Organization: Shui Rong Ye Registrant State/Province: Fu Jian Registrant Country: CN So, a Chinese company, not a German one. It's available in a variety of languages, also. When you use Google Images on some of the images used, it's also immediately obvious that they're copied from other sites. No real contact info, prices that are too good to be true for articles that are pretty rare, pictures and info that have been copied from around the net and a site that's registered in a country where consumer rights are at least hard to defend... Pretty standard classical scam. You pay, your money vanishes.

I can't remember knowing about this polybag, but today I stumbled across a few of them in a Lego-ish store here in the Netherlands, at a very reasonable price of a few euro's. It certainly is the first time I saw it in a real store. Looked it up and was surprised it actually is an "old" set. Bought one, just for it being so quant. It's a larger bag than the usual polybags, to accomodate for the backdrop that comes with it, but as for pieces it ain't much - just a minifig and two very simple builds, a snake and a tent.

A 40 euro 4+ (aka Juniors) set? -
It's even got a PTT phonebox outside (also antique now...)

Speed Champions 2019 - Rumours, Speculation and Discussion

On the positive side: they can't have designed those new wheelarches for this set only, so they're bound to pop up in another, hopefully more affordable set. Maybe even another classic mini, but if not, then at least we can build it ourselves.- 428 replies

[REVIEW] 42092 - Rescue Helicopter
jfbat replied to Jim's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I'm surprised the life-bed doesn't fit... you'd expect that to be the case. Also, the doors are a bit crude, I think it could have been done more streamlined with other panels. Overall it's a nice rendition of a rescue helicopter, sizewise I even prefer it to the 2011 version (which I have). I would have thought this to be a 25 euro set, and it probably will be at the ore affordable retailers. -

Our local toystore has a built version on display (the owner is a big Lego fan). I wasn't too bothered by the canopy-headlights from the official pictures, but in reality... -
Speed Champions 2019 - Rumours, Speculation and Discussion
jfbat replied to Anonknee Muss's topic in LEGO Town
It's becoming a recurring thin in the Speed Champions line: the 55 euro (or thereabouts) set with the star car of the series that everybody wants, and another car and some stuff that few people care about. In fact we're paying extra for the most popular car of the series, but Lego is kind enough to at least give you some extra value for that. I did buy the Ford set with the GT, but steered clear of the Porsche set of this year. I'm hoping the Mini set will get a discount, but have a feeling it won't...- 428 replies

[REVIEW] 42096 - Porsche 911 RSR
jfbat replied to Jim's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
That area looks a bit unfinished. But if you're referring to any panelling missing at the lower part of the wheel arch-flange, then it's true to the original: Look behind the front wheel: there is no panel below the red part. Good review! At this price, it's a no-brainer for me. -
It's mostly to do with economical brick use, I think. As do a lot of things that are not realistic in the modulars. And I have no problem with that. It's almost impossible to make Modulars more realistic without hiking the cost to an unrealistic level, if at all because of space constraints. For this set - as I mentioned in my previous post - I would customize it by adding a wall separating the stairs to the Vet from the garage, but not in the Vet waiting room, because it's not even that unrealistic to have it like it is, apart from the fact there's no door to the apartment on the top floor.

Well, I've seen that in real life, more times than you'd imagine. But I agree, that could have been done a bit different. What bothers me also is that the bed is so close to the kitchen. I'd want that as far away from an open kitchen as possible... For me it's a set full of compromises. I'd want a wall between the garage and the stairs to the vet. The waiting area for the vet is quite large when compared to the actual practice. One of those couches would be very welcome in the apartment upstairs, which I would rearrange so the kitchen was indeed not next to the bathroom, the latter I would seek to expand a little to include a shower. Fun thing is: that can easily be achieved with bricks I very probably have lying around. On the whole I agree with @Aanchir. All Creator Modulars have plenty of things that are missing or not in line with real life, even looking back to the period in which the buildings are presumably set. Lego have again at least tried to make something of all the floors. I have green grocers/pet shop and that is really skimpy on interior - though handily disguised by having one house being "redecorated". Less happy with yet again upping the price.

Taller is no problem and Lego has done so on many occasions, an example is the current City Fire Station. -

Lego should however think about making wider roller-doors, though. The current ones don't even allow for mirrors on 6-wide trucks. It's weird having firetrucks without mirrors... ;-) -

That's a bit of an exaggeration, the last real police boat was released in 2016: https://brickset.com/sets/60129-1/Police-Patrol-Boat And this year we had this: https://brickset.com/sets/60176-1/Wild-River-Escape That being said, the sky police team seems a bit far fetched to me too, in terms of realistic sets. But these sets are primarily aimed at kids and as such I can see the play appeal of a sky police theme. I for one remember playing for days with GI Joe parachute troopers at a friends house who could afford multiple of them and had a balcony. -
That is absolutely stunning!

Apart from the shape, the 20 euro price difference with our neighbours (Netherlands vs Germany) is way off. In no way explainable. And thus: not an instant buy for me. I'll be in Germany in a few weeks, and I can wait for that. If it's sold out by then? I don't care, really. This set just doesn't give me that "must have" vibes like the other vehicles in this series (which I all have).

I'm guessing it's the grey part next to the SNOT built windows on the top floors? At the left it's one plate wider... What a great building and what great cars you build!

[REVIEW] 42083 - Bugatti Chiron

They don't work for me in Safari 11.1.1 either... -
Well, it's at least bordering on a conflict with the "no active license" rule: So, the inclusion of Mickey (and to be honest, the whole set is a Mickey based thing) at least decreases the chances of it passing the review. I wouldn't get my hopes up for this being released...

Sorry, but I also am not a big fan of how the nose looks in the leaked picture. And I am sure even I could improve on it, with the right inventory. But I also understand that for Lego it's a trade-off between possibilities and cost & sturdiness, and in this case possibly also function. Who knows what's behind the nose that lead the designers to this solution? Also: things that look bad in pictures - especially when compared to the original - often tend to not be that bad when it's sitting on your building table. So, I'll wait for more pictures... and probably buy it anyway. I mean: I also had some critisisms about the front of the Routemaster. And I still think it could have been better. But I also haven't changed anything on my set.

I thought that "most followed" would be the same. That function just doesn't work, it shows the same order as "most recently updated". The look is ok, the filters and sorting options are a shambles. So: no, at the moment I prefer the old site.
